Non League Day

No KPFC tomorrow, so that already means Saturday will be less boring, but how about making it even less boringer by going to one of these non-league matches.

Ah, the Cork United vs Cork Town non-league derby. One of the highlights of the season.

Went to Wimborne Town vs Taunton Town last weekend, Southern League Premier Division South. Lovely little set up there, recently moved ground after their old one was sold for housing 

 

About 750 there, won 3-0. To be fair, as someone who has no ties to the old ground the new one is much better and has seen their average attendance double. Will be back for sure, £14 I thought was OK for step 3 and knowing the cash is much more needed than it is in the Prem for example.

We're hoping to top 2K for tomorrow. Got over 1.8 last weekend so it could be on the cards with others clicking their heels.

Radford Town for Coalville tomorrow. We played their a few weekends ago against a team they groundshare with. Just a case of improving the team this season and getting ready for a promotion push next season now we're out the Vase.

514 at Nuneaton Town v Coventry Copeswood, 98th Minute winner for Boro! in what was a 3-2 win, Very scrappy game towards the end. The Coventry Copeswood keeper was pretty much wanting to arrange a fight with some of the fans after the game... you see it all at non league
