Curry in Leicester on Sunday

My Mum is coming to her annual match on Sunday (we always win when she comes so fingers crossed) and it is also a significant birthday of mine so we want to go out for a curry afterwards.  Mum is in a wheelchair so it needs to be somewhere accessible and ideally heading north.

 

Any suggestions?

Friends on Queens Rd is decent, sort of the north side of the city.

 

My Delhi and Mowgli are good chains in the city centre.

 

Mem Saab and Varanasi are slightly pricier but the very best food imo.
 

Not been to the Broadway on Abbey lane for food but that gets rave reviews, has a car park and is northbound.

If anyone is interested we went to Chefs Flavour on Memory Lane.  Excellent food and large portions - so much so that we ordered for 5 and have brought home enough left overs for 2 or 3 more.

It wasn’t busy at 5pm on a Sunday but the waiter said you need to book on Fridays and Saturdays.
