Correct, lost 2-0. I was 6! Remember ‘executive boxes’ to my right so I think I was sat in the East Stand.

I was in the front few rows in the supporters club corner.

I used to get in at 1.30 on the dot and sit there in full kit with my scarf and flear de lys pie

I've never been quite right

I’m thinking of going … but then sensible head is saying why bother - just watch at home and avoid the misery of getting home at 1 am

If they were giving their all,

If you could see the agility and dexterity in the managers thinking and in game management

If you could see variety in our play, our formation and personnel and ever decreasing circles in us getting the best 11 out for the run in

If you could see the blooding of fresh exciting talent (rather than loaning them out to all and sundry or leaving them at Seagrave)

If you could see this was a blip and there was a bigger masterplan in place

I'd absolutely be taking time off work, travelling, giving it the full banana for the full 95 minutes.

In reality we have none of the above and so I'm likely to fall asleep rather than getting upset watching it

Just a reminder that the club didn't put this on sale to one home or away point, let alone general sale. Granted it's a hard sell at the moment, but it would have helped shift those extra 500 or so tickets. Especially as virtually every other away game sells out anyway without needing those two sale brackets. Unfortunately this is what we're up against and it's an all too familiar story. The club work against their own supporters and the lack of regard is a consistent theme.

Just adding my post in here from the match thread.

I was thinking this. They'd rather return tickets to WH than sell them to their own fans.

Can anyone shed any light on why they are so against selling them to even just fans with purchase history?

Because it waters down the "value" of their godforsaken memberships. They're constantly cutting off their nose to spite their face.

Because anyone that doesn't have a membership is a hardened football hooligan and the club don't want you.

That of course all changes if you give them £35.

It genuinely feels like they're turning their noses up at regular sell outs just to twist peoples arms to buy a membership.

I'm not very financially literate but could they make more £ off of a few new membership sales for each away rather than a lot more on fully general sale? Feels like such an own goal.

Pure c0cks mate .  Feels like a face saving exercise. Someone made the membership decision and dont want to go back on it for fear of losing face.  Sounds a bit like a few places ive worked!

Realise I never actually received my ticket for this in the post - reckon I can get out of it and have my money back rather than having to collect it? lol

I would phone the club.. they will probably just cancel the originals and send down tickets to be collected with photo Id..

QQ - Anyone getting the train backup to Leicester after this? Dunno how feasible it is to get back to St Pancras after the game? Went to the London Stadium several years ago for an evening game (in the home end - dont ask!) and it was hell to get out of.

Long trudge back to tube stations unfortunately. Probably about 20-30 minutes if I remember correctly back to Stratford station, then about 20 minute tube to King's Cross.

Might actually be quicker to go to Hackney Wick and then change onto Victoria to King's Cross at Highbury and Islington.

Slow to serve a pint and pub is dated

The Wouts Head. Thinks it serves classy Belgian beers, but its really just fizzy piss.
