BTW you might want to tweak Pipers stats a bit, make him better than he is rated, as the chances are he would have been completely settled at Leicester, and may not have had all those injuries bogging him down. He would also be one of the clubs favoured staff probably.

It's good you are playing the 3-5-2, wouldn't be the same without it :D

I've tweaked them slightly but not much.

He's retired. He's only doing players that are still playing, apart from Collymore. I think thats the jist of it anyway.

27th August 2005 - Premiership - Filbert Street

Leicester City 1-1 Middlesborough

A very tightly contested game that was always going to be a draw. Stan Collymore scored to take the lead but Yakubu equalised in the 73rd minute.

10th September 2005 - Premiership - Ewood Park

Blackburn Rovers 0-1 Leicester City

Once again a very tight game but this time we managed to sneak it. Emile Heskeys 63rd minute goal was the only thing seperating the sides.

17th September 2005 - Premiership - Filbert Street

Leicester City 1-0 Charlton Athletic

Another narrow win, this time courtesy of a Paul Dickov penalty after 59 minutes. We were just about the better side in what turned out to be a very agressive game.

21st September 2005 - Carling Cup 2nd Rnd - Madjeski Stadium

Reading 0-2 Leicester City

Goals from Emile Heskey and Muzzy Izzet gave us a comfortable passage into the next round, we dominated and deserved to win.

25th September 2005 - Premiership - Reebok Stadium

Bolton Wanderers 3-2 Leicester City

Despite the close scoreline this was a game controlled by Bolton, they had three times as many shots as us and deserved their win. Heskey and Izzety scored our goals, Emile has 5 goals in 8 games now.

After 7 games we sit in 11th place with 10 points, a good start.

1st October 2005 - Premiership - Filbert Street

Leicester City 3-2 Liverpool

A superb win against the European champions. Stan Collymore scored after 10 mins to give us the lead against his former club but goals either side of the break put Liverpool ahead. Muzzy Izzet, howeve, stepped up a gear and scored a superb brace to win us the game and send Filbo crazy.

19th October 2005 - Premiership - Villa Park

Aston Villa 1-0 Leicester City

A lacklustre performance where we struggled to create any decent chances.

22nd October 2005 - Premiership - Filbert Street

Leicester City 4-1 Sunderland

A top notch performance from us to firmly see off Sunderland. We played some great football and put on a real show, click on the score above to see the scorers.

26th October 2005 - Carling Cup 3rd Round - Ewood Park

Blackburn Rovers 2-0 Leicester City

A poor performance and we disapointingly go out of the League Cup.

29th October 2005 - Premiership - Old Trafford

Manchester United 4-1 Leicester City

Despite periods of pressure and a Heskey goal we struggled against Man Utd and in the end their prolific strike force did their stuff.

5th November 2005 - Premiership - Filbert Street

Leicester City 1-1 Arsenal

We were very unlucky not to win this one after Dickov gave us the lead, however Heskey must two one-on-one sitters that would of won us the game. A point is still a good result though.

19th November 2005 - Premiership - Stamford Bridge

Chelsea 4-1 Leicester

We were comfortable beaten in a game that saw Neil Lennon sent off, Heskey scored our only goal.

26th November 2005 - Premiership - Filbert Street

Leicester City 0-1 West Ham United

A very disapointing home performance from us, we spent a lot of the game chasing West Ham players all over the place. West Ham deserved to win by more.

4th December 2005 - Premiership - Filbert Street

Leicester City 2-1 West Bromwich Albion

Solid home performance that saw us come away with all three points courtesy of goals from Izzet and Dickov, Muzzy's was a superb 30 yard belter.

10th December 2005 - Premiership - Fratton Park

Portsmouth 1-2 Leicester City

Another good 2-1 win, this time away from home. The attacking partnership of Heskey and Dickov both grabbed a goal each in a game in which we controlled for the majority of. Unfortunatley due to injuries and suspensions picked in this game we will have Lennon, Izzet, Collymore, Theo and Savage all out for the next game against Everton.

18th December 2005 - Premiership - Filbert Street

Leicester City 1-3 Everton

A weakened side we heavily beaten at Filbo and it could of been more. Dickov scored a consolation penalty but also missed one in the first half. We are now placed in 9th.
