He was very smug, a Southampton fan, and almost definitely trousered a bit from dodgy deals around the COVID pandemic but I weirdly think Sunak would have been perfectly okay in "normal" circumstances – by the time he got in he was on a hiding to nothing after the previous trio of gimps had basically ruined the country.

**** that he's a corrupt brexiteer ****. The only difference between him and the rest is he at least had a vague, vague shred of something resembling charisma.

Being more generally palatable than Boris and Truss is barely an achievement.

If anyone in that lineup could even vaguely pass as a human being it'd be May and even then that's extremely generous.

The BBC News team doing a great job of pursuing the illegal vape shops etc. How on earth did local councils and other authorities allow them to set up in such numbers in the first instance?

Out of the lot of the rotten feckers Sunak showed abit of compassion, and there were alot less calamities and buffoonery.

He also talked well and wasnt a complete div and came across as a clever ****.

£££££. Better to have garbage illegal shops open than no shops at all.

Nuts isn't it.

It really is. Genuinely can't remember when all the talk of car washes, Turkish barbers and dodgy cornershops started among people, but it sure as hell wasn't recently. Been happening for years, just a shame it takes the BBC to pull their finger out to highlight it, when most common folk knew it already.

Still, time will tell whether it actually gets dealt with or not. From what I can see it's had £30mill thrown at it, hardly enough to make a dent up and down the country I imagine.
