I get that, but people still work and it’ll be the second team playing with it being the Carabao. Maybe I’m biased because the journey doesn’t interest me in the slightest.

Out of interest, how has this been selling so far?

Slow, only one block open so far and about a third of the tickets in this block sold so far.

I'm hoping that more tickets will be available in the "all STH" category than before, given that a lot of longstanding STHs didn't renew this season.

Any stats on this? Anecdotally a lot were talking about not renewing on here, but unsure whether they had the spine to actually do it. Furthermore, the shameless ones will be at the fun away games as they will get tickets from their mates.

I know there were probably more people talking about not renewing than actually doing it, I'm pretty sure the club announced the renewal percentage which was a fair bit lower than in previous years.

I didn't realise, I'll look for those stats, good they did that! Given how little else comes out of that black box. Wonder whether it is higher priority brackets tho. And again, wonder whether this will affect away tickets (hope so) as the happy clappers who haven't renewed will still go when there's a good day out.

I'm never sure what people mean  by "happy clappers", but my guess is that the people who only recently got their season tickets are unlikely to relinquish them.  We got ours about 6 years ago after trying for 2 years, so I wouldn't give them up in a hurry, however pissed off I was with the regime.

But I suppose there could be people who only got them because we were doing well, and have now lost interest.

I think happy clapper refers to those types who spend at least an hour a day on social media telling people 'they're done with the club mate the club is s shambles mate' but are still far more informed about the club than someone like me who considers myself an ardent fan. Either way it's a very funny term.

Happy clappers at Leicester I assume are more to do with the people who offer no criticism, the club can’t do no wrong, regardless of manager they are god and the people who actually frustrate the life out of me.. Leicester put up the most half arsed performance, be 4-0 down away at Everton for example and still people will clap the team at full time as they shout well done lads..

Some of them there were happy because it was only 4 and not 5, 6 or even more, at least I am excused because when the 4th went in I was on the bus back to Lime Street station.

Isn't what you're describing 'the coach 1 mob' ??? I thought the happy clappers were those weak people who cannot stay away from the club whilst telling everyone they're done with the club. There used to loads of them on the foxes trust thread.

Pretty much although I suspect there is also a few more than that.. some of the games last season was appalling at full time. I get the whole argument of they’ve paid, they can do what they want. But why would people want to spend £100+ on an away day, for the players to simply humiliate the away fans and for a select few to clap that?
