Just for context, if we do get a points deduction and it's 6-9 points then that would put us 9-12 off the play-offs with 25 games remaining.

 

To make up that amount of points over just over half a season would require us to average 2 points a game for the rest of the season. It's a tall ask, not impossible but we have shown very little consistency to manage that.

Didn't go well for them when they got there either did it?

 

I love how they try and erase the part where Watford didn't even go up. It's almost like it would render that moment pointless and not let them reshow it 8764839393 times.

I very quickly decided that when you dive for a penalty and shit goes sideways immediately thats karma. 

 

I didnt even mind who won the final, but I'm quite happy with how things turned out for us - as much as I hate the phrase - sliding doors moment

It was a poor dive and in the end, like you say, it turned out to be a good thing for us. 

 

That summer was miserable though. Everyone on here was predicting we'd have a hangover from what happened and be right near the bottom. We only got in the play offs that season after some horrific form to drop out the top 6. Then I don't think we signed anyone. 

 

But the rest is history
