Right now he’d probably make some lower level prem squads get some minutes off the bench and some cup games.. 1

MPH Posted 3 May Posted 3 May From memory, wasn’t it Tuna saying Daka would score 30 goals in the championship?
dbtcity Posted 4 May Posted 4 May That’s that’s then… as if we didn’t know already the final nail in the coffin, our loss is massively going to be Rennes gain

DJW1 Posted 4 May Posted 4 May One factor in the JJ situation is his fitness. Has he played a full 90 mins this season? I imagine he´s been subbed off so many times to protect him. Even if we had the money to sign him, and he wanted to (if we´d stayed up), then we might consider it too big a risk (although he´s contribued more in half a season than any other player who played a full season). Likewise, other clubs that could afford him might be put off by his injury record this season (or would carry out a stringent medical exam before deciding whether to sign him).

Or it’s probably because he literally dragged us through games. No surprise we nose dived during his absence, and after that he never got going again.
Finnegan Posted 5 May Posted 5 May (edited) He's very obviously not coming here. That's been apparent for months for most of us. I'm locking this. There's a thread in the main forum to dicuss JJ the player which will remain open until his loan officially ends and his future starts somewhere else. I don't see the point of this thread staying open. You want to dicuss JJ, do it there. But he isn't signing for us permanently so we really don't need this open. Edited 5 May by Finnegan
