My god. watching people watch Leicester play has got to be a massive low point. Like thats a look in the mirror and evaluate your life job

Surely nobody does this lol

Maybe I'm being overly optimistic but I don't think we are going down. I also don't think yesterday's game is representative of where we're at due to the sending off. Even in the second half it didn't seem like it was 10 vs 11 and on another day we'd still have got something.

Ultimately I still believe we have a playoff-calibre squad who are massively underperforming due to a variety of reasons. They look under pressure, nervous. The off-the-field stuff is having an impact. But that can be solved if we can get a manager in who can get what resembles a tune out of them. 17 games, 51 points available. Even if our points deduction is 9 points, I'd still have confidence we'd comfortably avoid relegation. IF we can get a manager in who the players will respect.

In the meantime, Kingy and the players deserve another chance next week under normal playing conditions before we completely throw them under the bus :D

I admire your optimism, so tell me..

Look at the next 6 league fixtures and tell me where we win a game? So that leaves 11 games remaining, 9 points deducted and then only 33 available.

We are in huge trouble.

Its quite alarming how many people are praising the second half yesterday like it was some sort of amazing revival.

They do realise Charlton had completely taken their foot off the gas and stopped trying right?

The exact same thing happened against Sheff United when they were 3-0 up at HT

As things are so bad on the pitch, you start looking around and noticing other things.

I know they've been doing this for years but ... middle of the day, blue sky, bright sunshine - and yet all the floodlights are on.   There must be 60/70 or so lights around the ground, all shining brightly.   What a waste of leccy and money!

Something else I saw ... just before the players came out for the 2nd half.   There were 30/40 pints of pre-poured beer on the counter, covering all bases (lager, bitter, cider).   There was no one queueing up, and the lad was still pouring out more beer.   Then a couple of minutes later, he started pouring all the pints into waste buckets.

You should complain to the club, especially when they're apparently well-known for their sustainability practices.

Sorry, but have to disagree. I don’t think people are claiming it was a great revival ( or will be). Just that it was encouraging to see some fight and decent attacking with 10 men including our youngsters. Charlton hadn’t completely taken their foot off the pedal- they couldn’t handle us for the first 15 mins of the 2nd half up to the pen , and you could see Nathan Jones flapping. Had the pen gone in, he knew we would have our tails up and might then get a second.

i didn’t see the SU game, but understand from comments on here that we played well in that second half and had chances to get a third. So you’ll telling me that their players and their manager were happy and comfortable to let us attack and control the second half - nonsense.
Yesterday was crap- 2 poor teams and Andy is not the next manager  for me. We need an experienced motivator urgently, to somehow raise our physicality and team spirit.

Seats are in desperate need of a lick of paint too, Run down and tired, much like the football club
