It must be soon. I think they will put memberships up for sale soon. Then / at same time put the info on website for sale dates. They wont have them on sale as (1) Season Ticket Holders then (2) General Sale. Plus first home competitive game is 5 weeks away. They usually put Home tickets up for sale 5 weeks in advance of game. But as a cup game they can get away with slightly less time. I'm thinking by weekend for both.

Do you get points for these away pre season games?

I have just read it and no where does it state one point per game, but if they’re running it through the away ticket scheme in my opinion you should get a point per game. Last pre season friendlies I did that wasn’t the case.

But it stinks a bit they’re using the away points scheme to sell friendly tickets and you have to apply to join a ballot for the seagrave one.Dear me.

Didn’t get an email confirmation but noticed it opened up to buy about 10:05am through the app. Managed to get 2 but had to make 2 transactions (unusual), ready to download emails received but won’t add to Wallet 🫤

Just had another email confirming the ballot and saying there’s a problem with the ticket download system and they will resend next week.

I'm glad I read this because, for the Burton pre-season game, I was just going to go in the home end on the side terrace, as it's a great place to watch football.

However, having read on here that away points are given I got a ticket in the away end instead.

I can confirm that I did get an away priority point for it.

I don't agree with giving them out for pre-season games though. Should be competitive games only.

Is this a new thing? I'm sure I've dragged myself to  loads of preseason friendlies over the years without getting points for them.

No idea. I don't know if it's been done in previous pre-seasons. Either way, it seems to have been done without any information and notification.  A bit like when they just stopped putting away tickets on general sale without any explanation or justification.
