We had better players a couple of years ago but under this manager it's been woeful. Also this is WSL2, in women's football terms it's virtually non-league.

The WSL has gone the same way. 4 teams (sponging off their male counterparts for funding) win everything and the rest just exist. Spurs v West Ham in the WSL is as dull as any mid-table Prem game to be fair.

They'll struggle to grow it any further than it is unless they make the teams survive as their own stand alone clubs and introduce a bit more competitiveness into the thing.

My point is that football is played accross all levels, grass roots, to international level, it doesnt mean that only those top levels are good football.

The top levels are so disconnected from it's fans and turned into a commercial machine. It's far more appealing (to me) to follow a team whereby there is more there, particularly as someone with 2 girls who enjoy football and can get inspired by them being more accessible.

The WSL is going the same way, but it's a long way off yet.

Is it a regular thing showing the matches on YouTube?

Yes, most of the women's matches are streamed live.

Annoyed I missed yesterday's but very glad to see a win!

Fancy us for it again today. Hopefully the team gels a bit better, particularly in an attacking sense.

Will be interesting to see how many fans we get at home too.

Playing at the KP was football in a library in the WSL, let alone the WSL2.

impressive persistence from Missy she's gone at the full back often and been out muscled in the box, seen wingers for the mens side that have given up in that situation and stopped running at the full back

Dennis is making some good runs. Just lacks a bit of pace.

she's got the pace, just not the explosive first few steps
