Newbies

May be an image of football and text

Wouldn't be so bad if we hadn't let 3 times as many people go.

I hate to be doom and gloom and at the end of the day, same as with the mens team, I am a Leicester fan, regardless as to what division we are in, who owns the club, or whatever the result is.

But there is just no hope at the minute, accross the whole club.

The way the mens team have started the season has probably set the precident and the mood. And if we get a few wins on the bounce, that will quickly get forgotten about, but as it stands the whole place just feels like a cancer.

the players don't seem to be felling that or maybe their just happy to have a decent training facility a contract.

From what I understand, a lot of players from the women's team have left for the very reason that it was a toxic environment. Can only take these things on face value, but reading between the lines, it doesnt look good.

It’s interesting to see the type of player that Passmoor has brought in, generally upwards moves for most of them or a much increased prospect of playing regularly, a chance to prove themselves but also far less likely to question him or his tactics unlike let’s say Williams, Neville or Cain who id imagine were not backwards in coming forwards.

Speaks volumes that so many wanted to leave, even if it was just to find themselves a 12 month stay in WSL1 by joining Charlton, Palace or Everton, none of which can confidently state they won’t be in a relegation scrap.

The 21s were beaten 10-0 by Rugby Borough in the cup tonight…

Good set up at borough and appear to be well run with ambition. Could be playing us in wsl2 next season. If we stay up.

the ones that left were mainly the senior players that had been around a while, if the atmosphere was toxic its on them as much as the manager

To be honest, the root cause is probably higher than that still.

It's all contributing factors though.

Lost 0-2 to Sunderland at Belvoir Drive in the final pre season friendly today.

I know you can't read a lot into pre season, even more so when you can't watch the games, but I don't think we've won a single game, have we?

Concerning.

No wins in pre season.

They still haven’t won away in the league since Jan 2024 (1-0 at Everton) and Kirk was in charge!

Passmoor still in the job, so it’ll be more of the same, playing Football on a 50 yard pitch (in our own half)

If you don't laugh, you'd cry.

I don’t think the team been improved in the transfer window. Just shows the lack of interest by king power.

Probably only keeping it going to list it as an asset in any potential sale.

It hasn’t improved, it’s much weaker. King Power, Billiard, Passmoor honestly believe they have done enough again but the teams in WSL2 are no mugs.

Very little creativity in the team, bottom 3 is my prediction if they keep Passmoor.

I’d use the word Manager very loosely where Passmoor is concerned!

Passmoor should manage the men's team with a name like that.

Speaking of Passmoor, I don't think I have seen anything of him at all since the end of the season, no articles on the website, nothing on the socials, barely any reference to him at all. Even at the 7s tournament, I don't think I had saw him.

I'd hoped it was him being phased out, but as it gets closer and closer to the start of the season, it seems even weirder...
