lcfc true blue josh 18 Posted 3 January 2006 Share Posted 3 January 2006 Im sick and tired of all the leicester fans moaning about levein and his methods of managing us. when he first came to the club he said that he would prepare us for the long term, so why are we all starting to expect things too quick. everyone knows that the squad isnt too great, but thats all he can work with, so all those city fans that are getting on his back, just calm down and suuport the lads through this shitty time that we are in... remember CITY NEVER GIVE UP
Trumpet Posted 3 January 2006 Share Posted 3 January 2006 Maybe if we saw some passion from CL instead of the usual "i understand the fans frustration, we are going through a rough patch"... yea hes rebuilding the squa, but doesnt mean we should be going down by doing so. adam Posted 3 January 2006 Share Posted 3 January 2006 I think hes had enough time to show at least some signs of improvement. One league away win in a year. Enough said. Sack him.

LEVEIN OUT Or maybe it was because it was 4 games in eight days and he was trying to get fresh legs in, add in the injuries and suspension. It's alright wanting him out because of the poor results but please let's stop picking to bits every decision he makes.

Didn't john barber say levein told him that he doesn't know his best 11 and i'm pretty sure levein has said it himself in an interview?

Hold on a minute, every other club has had to play these amount of games, so can we stop using it as an excuse please? To rest Smith, Hume, Hammond against reading was unforgivable, the bloke has been complaining for weeks that we struggle against sides that sit back, then we go to reading and play 4-5-1. Reading have been breaking teams down all season that sit back, if he had any faith or judgement he would have recognised this.

Have you kept track of every club and the teams they played over Christmas, do you know the full extent of peoples injuries at Leicester and other clubs? If you have then fine, as for my statement I wasn't justifying his decisions I was merely pointing out why he MIGHT have made the changes.
woznotwos Posted 3 January 2006 Share Posted 3 January 2006 If this meeting sees CL still here then its true that we gotta stop getting on his back,as the decision would have been made,we'll have no choice but to get behind him,as it may just add enough of a gee up to get them performing again!!I dont think he'll go anywhere till the Connolly money arrives end of season!! If he goes therell be no more signings...can you cope with that ??
