SystonFox Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 route planner says it should take 1 hour 42 minutes from my house to the stadium! forget that... my missus' brother said it took him 55 mins to get to sheffield debenhams when he had to work there for a week but this was early morning motorway. fox travel is leaving at 11:30 what time is it expected to arrive? really dont want to use the fox travel as its so boring and uncomfy, and expensive when i can just give my mate a tenner petrol! but 1 hour 42 minutes is a bit excessive right? I quite like Fox Travel personally, its only going to cost me £12 to get to Hillsborough with being a ST holder, it drops you off at the ground in good time ( always good fun playing hunt the pub) and picks you up after. You also get to watch a DVD (if Tara ever works out how to use it ) as well - its all good
Bert Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 Im not going to any more away games until Levein is sacked. Ive got better things to waste my money on. Like Carling for example. Thats no waste now is it. On the Sheff Weds subject - I'm not sure if i can go i have a football match at 10:30 that morning and i could get to the train station by 1pm, but would that be enough time on a train?? and will tickets be sold on the gate for away fans?? SystonFox Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 haha... well yes its usefull as its got me to sheffield, but i fail to see how thats the easiest and most direct route there. surely its much quicker for us to go through lough, joining the m1 on junc 21? and ploughing up there at 70 mph (yeah reet!) untill junc 34 then following the directions from there. surely that makes most sense? syston_fox Posted 4 January 2006 Share Posted 4 January 2006 I dunno really. Just have a habbit of remembering stupid things like that. I was sitting a couple of rows back and to be honest, it was the only interesting thing that happened on that "journey" home.
