What the fetch is this "get behind the team" rubbish

Completely agree with Jankers, TPH and co.

The fans have got behind the team for the last 14 months under Levein, and look where that's got us. F**king nowhere.

People have to realise that just because 20,000 fans cheer every now and then, they will not make this bunch of underperforming idiots to play like world beaters. We will not rise again just because a few thousands supporters cheer instead of sitting silently.

Fans do have an impact on the team for sure, but what they do in training, how well they are coached, how the manager decides tactics and motivates the players, is MUCH MORE important. Fans getting behind the team will not make up for the inadequacies of the training, the coaching, the tactics, the management, and the motivation.

Levein out.

Those fans saying that really are starting to piss me off. We have been doing it since he has arrived here and we now know things are never going to work out with him at the helm, therefore we want him out!

why dont you take a long hard look in the mirror

I think you'll find a sarcasmectomy is needed for cases like mine.

SHouting abuse mqay also get the players wound up and playing better, or at least giving it their all :D

And if I was paid an excessive amount of money to have 20K people shouting abuse at me, I'd think "feck 'em".

I'm not being sycophantic, but there's making your point made constructively, and there's being an idiot. Booing the team/players is more likely to be counter-productive.

Try twatting Levein then as hes the one whos been banging on about US lot getting behind the team all week. Bloody cheek, after the way we were treated by the players at Hillsborough he can feck off, weve given them all the support we can by turning up every week home and away and spending money some of us dont have.

The guy needs a reality check!

I think a silent protest would be more effective. We've had plenty of practice at that, especially at home.

No, honestly, just clap - it'll make all the difference!

You've gotta love the sycophants who tow the club line!

LEVEIN OUT.

NOW!

Okay, this has really pissed me off now. Y'know what, f**k you TPH. Who the f**k do you think you are to call us sycophants because we support our club by going to the matches and cheering the team on. You started off a few weeks ago by calling anyone who supported CL and idiot or arselicker, now you have the audacity to have a go at the people who actually try to create some kind of atmosphere at the Walkers.

You should feel ashamed of yourself.

Don't be so ignorant, of course TPH is allowed his opinions. My comments have got nothing to do with his feelings toward CL, they were directed at his attitude to those of us that make the effort to go to matches and support Leicester City. He's bang out of order in that respect.

do not keep saying online that the walkers tedium has no atmosphere for christ sake.

n.a.s.a. will hear of this , buy the place and use it to train astronauts in

personally i think the reason their hasnt been much atmosphere is because since weve moved there city have been pretty much crap. you cant really get excited watching first micky and now ClueLess

Whoa! That one isn't off the official LCFC songsheet!

Looks like you've woken up.

If only the players showed a bit of passion like that.

I didn't have a go at people who try to create some sort of atmosphere. I was mocking the assertion that it was the fans not making enough noise which has left us where we are in the table.

I don't mind you arguing with me, but please don't misrepresent my arguments.

I'm gonna do a Levein here.

It's not my fault my posting is shit. I've just been unlucky. And it's the players faults. And also wasn't that ref crap. I do realise we're in trouble though honestly and I'll be working hard on the training ground to sort it out. Or something.

Do you think it would help if we all got behind you and cheered you on? :P

Why? Because I'm being honest?

You're thinking like a fan. Most fans do. We would die for our clubs. We certainly live for them. But we're not paid to play for them, and if you were employed to play for a club you had no emotional attachment too, would you put more effort into it than you do your current job?

No.

And don't give me the argument you'd be playing for pride. Would that mean you're saying that most of our squad are?

No because your a mercenary.

That sums up 99% of professional footballers then.

i wouldnt die for my club

players are playing for pride , who wants to be known has a loser afterall.

you will always get those that couldnt give a toss , like ravanelli and anelka , only in it for the money.

i used to do a little bit of sunday footie and enjoyed playing.

if i got stick i tried harder and i did it for free of course.

now i cant really play anymore because ive knackered my ankles and to play would mean a high risk of injury. :(

It's a job!

Our dream is to play for Leicester City. To them it's probably a bit of an irritation when Saturday comes round every week.

Half of them only put the effort in when they think they're in the shop window. Like the Spurs televised game when Levein 'turned it round'.

:D:P

I'm sorry but, if i was being critised in my job, my attitude would be to knuckle down and prove people wrong, it doesn't/shouldn't change just because that job is to be a professional footballer, unless ofcourse i signed for Derby :D

So in that case, criticise them.

It's a double sided coin.

Do you:

- clap and cheer - which might suggest to the players we find the current situation acceptable- or think they're doing fine.

- boo, whatever and perhaps show them what we think, demanding an improvement.

Of course booing could make the players more nervous and more prone to errors whilst cheering could encourage them to play more confident, attacking football.

I don't have the answer.
