He has only resigned today, the board won't even be thinking of who the replacement will be yet.

I would love a Little/Walsh partnership though.

"However, we have now accepted that Micky's decision is final. We would like to place on record our sincere appreciation for the tremendous commitment, passion and success Micky has brought to the club.

Commitment? Pssion? Where do the club get this stuff from they not been watching this team play.

Just watched the press conference and I have to say Micky talked alot of sense.

He was talking about things as if he had done this for the club and wanted to see the club move on now and get promoted, that was good to hear because I expected his reasoning to be purely personal. He looked like all the pressure had been taken off him and he spoke his mind.

He said he hoped to be welcomed back with open arms here, you certainly will.....from me anyway.

Possibly one of the best resignation speeches I have ever heard and I certainly have alot more respect for Micky now, even after all that has happened. I feel a litle sad, but let's not forget the shite we've been watching for the past few months if not years!

He was dignified and honourable and i'll hold no grudge against him. At the end of the day it wasn't personal it was purely based on the football side of things and he's done the right thing.

I'll never forget the 2002/03 season or the scenes after the final whistle at Brum last season, but certain shit has happened that made it impossible Mick.

All the best chief, go and do yourself proud.

Havent heard the press conference. Just a few lines when i was at work on Radio. Thanks for what you did Micky in the first season but theres no point feeling guilty. The last two years have been terrible and depressing to watch, frustrating to see him never learn from mistakes game after game. Hope he does well in the future and that he learns from his time here. Follow in Taylors footsteps he seems to be doing well since he left

Good luck to MA, i have the uptmost respect for the guy. Some will disagree but he did a bloody good job in the previous two seasons, this season just wasn't working for him though. Good luck.

Respect to Adams, He's a nice man having met him.I Was very much in two minds. Heart said stay, head said go. I know lots of staff who said how nice he is compared to everybody else they hav worked for, he deserves everybodys best wishes in his career, if not you are not a true fan! We shouldn't forget what he's done for us.

Apparently they will appoint a successor at 12pm today aswell! Well that means it's either Bassett/Corky or Dublin/Keown.

**** off

I would welcome Gregory over those.

Lots od respect to Adams who was generally a sucessful manager and definately a likeable leader of our club.

It was definately time for a chnage though. I think he lost the respect of the players.

You will be remebered with reasonable fondness by me at least, those who look at it less objectively seem determined to give you a hard time even in the future. <_<

Having heard his press conference I have to respect Micky Adams. He did the honourable thing (perhaps a little late, but that's being pedantic) and was not bitter towards the fans or the players. I think he's a top bloke for what he said in wishing the club well and how much he enjoyed his time at Leicester. He'll be welcome back here for sure, and I hope he succeeds in his career.
