Guest freund Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 Kenneth Bigley was being paid a thousand pounds a day to work there.
Anish Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 Well said Benji, too many threads on here end up in personal insults. Appreciate that everyone is different and accept it.
Guest Daniel Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 But i do respect people some will watch it and for whatever reason is up to them! If only everyone agreed with you mate.
Benji Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 even if i did get some and people the wrong way round
Guest Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 I haven't seen any of the videos, neither do I want to. The whole act and what it stands for sickens me, not necessarily the beheading itself. I do wonder why people would want to watch an execution, however, public executions have taken place all over the world for many centuries. Apparently, during the French Revolution, there was a group of elderly women, who would set up seats right next to the guillotine, and have a picnic, or knit, whilst the aristocracy were beheaded, just to prove a point.
Nathan_Ellington_WAFC Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 well said cat burger, they are ignoring what i am saying as i have got to them and made them look like...no, i wont go down to blue mistress' levels with petty insults yes it is on the internet, but only people like the bash brothers go deliberately to view it, also with their father which i find a bit sad. all i'm getting at is why do you people watch this? what do you get out of watching it?? please tell me. you said you want to see whats going on in this sick world, but that was soon laughed off by the decent people on here as you cant give a good enough reason to why you view this
Guest Daniel Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 yes it is on the internet, but only people like the bash brothers go deliberately to view it, also with their father which i find a bit sad.all i'm getting at is why do you people watch this? what do you get out of watching it?? please tell me. 26526 yes this is a leicester forum, but only people like you would try and make friends on an oppositions forum, also your a wigan fan which i find abit sad. all im getting at is why do you come here? what do you get out of coming here? please tell me.
Hullfox Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 God i'm probably going to get a warning here. I have to say I'm with BM TB and Babylon here. Now there's four people you wouldn't expect to see siding together. It could be argued that they have a more balanced view of the situation for having watched the videos and seen what one man can do to another at the very extremities of behaviour. I'm not sure what your moral high ground is in this. Is it the fact that you are not intruding upon someone else's loss or that it is wrong for people to show an interest in something that has happened in the world?

Anish Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 BM I'd rather be a Wigan fan than a Leicester one at the moment.
Anish Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 Shows how loyal you are then. 26555 You're saying he's sad for supporting Wigan - shows how immature you are.
Anish Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 And don't question my loyalty either - you know nothing about me. I did not say I was going to support Wigan did I? The inference was that Wigan are a better team than us, that's all.
Guest Daniel Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 You said, YOU'D sooner be a wigan fan at the moment? Why arnt you then?
Anish Posted 13 October 2004 Posted 13 October 2004 Read it again - I'd rather be a Wigan fan at the moment - because they are top of the table and playing good football etc. It doesn't mean I am going to start supporting them does it?????? Ideally I would rather be a millionaire than a poor graduate struggling to find a job. Just because you would rather be something it doesn't mean you actually do it/become it. For the record my loyalty to LCFC will never dwindle - I will keep supporting them til I die. This is getting way off topic again...as many of these posts do. End of.

Alexikokopops Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 Wow, I never thought this thread would escalate into so much bitching. Jeez, just leave it already. If you didn't see it, fine, if you did, ok. Sorted.
Ric Flair Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 At the end of the day, what's happened to Ken Bigley is sick. Now, I think Bigley was foolish for going out there in the first place, but that doesn't mean he warranted losing his life in such a dreadful fashion. It is inevitable that people will watch the video of his death if it's passed around on the internet, the problem is that you will get some people who watch it out of curiosity because it is pretty hard to picture someone without a head. I wouldn't want to watch it, but some people might. Then there are others that watch it because they are pretty sick and get kicks out of watching things like that, there is a fine line between it and that's the problem. But you can't tarnish everyone who watches it with the same brush. Although having said that I can't agree with most of the stuff being written by Blue Mistress, because it does seem that he secretly quite likes all this shady stuff but again that's not having a go at him.
Babylon Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 I was unfortunate to see it because it made me feel sick to the stomach. You were not in the room at the time, do not know the conversations that took place between the person who showed it and the person who saw it, so who are you to pass judgement on me being a sick person. I personally think you are a sick person for making fun of and laughing at victims of bullying If someone is doing a project for good reason it's different, if someone is just plainly interested in it then I consider it to be immoral. Bablyon, were you there when I was watching the video? the video lasted about 3-5 seconds, I wasn't aware or prepared for it, I'm 18 not seen many execution scenario's in my time, although I suppose you have seen plenty being such an expert. As for the excuse, I don't appreciate being indirectly accused of lying like that. Why is saying Nathan_Ellington_wafc wasn't with YOU when you watched it, any different to what you are saying to me??. Personally I think you are a Hypocrite, you are also unable to listen to Nathan_Ellington_wafc's opinions which makes you ignorant. I will never win an argument with you so I don't care what you throw back, as far as I'm concerned any opinion of yours which I may come across from now has lost it's value, wild accusations of me being a liar are 'laughable'. 26484 "If it's for a project for good reason it's ok" Do you only think people want to learn if it's a project written on a piece of paper and handed to you from a teacher. Humans are curious things by nature, when a father tells a child not to touch something because it is hot, 5 times out of ten that child will touch it because it's curious. If someone said to an adult don't open that draw then left the room, 5 times out of ten that adult will take a sneaky look. People want to learn and that takes many different forms. Hypocrit or not the fact remains that the brain can make a decision in an instant, if the video lasted 5 seconds you made the choice to watch instead of turning away. Try getting someone to poke you in the eye and see how quickly you move away. I'm unable to listen to his opinions, what exactly do you base that on? He gave his point of view and i gave mine. So far people on here have said anyone who watched it needs their head looking at, is sick and were even put in the same brackets as pedophiles by errrm... YOU. I haven't sat here saying anyone who didn't want to watch it is a pussy or a wimp have I? I have just counter argued peoeples thoughts just as you a Wigan Boy have been to us. If you read my posts i have said "I respect peoples views of not wanting to look at the images, as people should respect anyone who wants to" So from what i can see you and the wigan boy are far more ignorant as you are the ones lableing everyone who watched it.... sick, disrespectful and in need of having our heads looked a. "opinion of yours which I may come across from now has lost it's value" I could very much say the same for you.
Lukeh Posted 14 October 2004 Posted 14 October 2004 I cant believe from 1 topic there is so much contreversy and arguments. What is the point of arguing over somethink which even has nothing to do with you, theres enough things in the world which are immoral and stupid and just plain dumb but i dont just see why arguing over this would be worthwhile! We all feel sympathetic towards the guy but it should just stop there. Show some compasion and sympathy towards the guy rather then arguing over something so petty.

Buzzell Posted 21 October 2004 Posted 21 October 2004 I watched the beheaded video of the first American civilian who wore glasses. That made me sick and I could sleep for a couple of days. Scary shit!
