davieG Posted 27 January 2006 Share Posted 27 January 2006 Here
Wilcox Signs On Permanently
ON-LOAN Leicester man JASON WILCOX today completed a permanent switch to Bloomfield Road. The former England international has signed with the Tangerines until the end of the season. The 34-year-old joined 'Pool on loan back in November and made his debut in the 1-1 draw with Chesterfield, since then the former Blackburn and Leeds star has been an ever present. More recently WIlcox has occupied the problematic left back position a role he is expected to continue on Saturday when Simon Grayson's men travel to the North East to take on Hartlepool United. Leicfox Posted 27 January 2006 Share Posted 27 January 2006 As Blackpool are my 2nd team, Im made up, he's been playing really well, and doing a great job at left back. Grayson has made some excellent signings in the last month.

Benji Posted 27 January 2006 Share Posted 27 January 2006 I will admit that for some reason i had some sort of vendetta against him. Even if he did something good, i'd say nothing and wait for a time to criticise him. I just never liked him, harsh maybe, but I'm happy to admit I hated every minute he was in a Leicester shirt. Good riddance!

lookwhaticando Posted 27 January 2006 Share Posted 27 January 2006 Excellent news! Tho his ability to play on the left may well be missed, that 2,000 quid we'll get from his sale can be used to bring in another player.
