there realy are some wayne kerrs on this board, you see the team win, and yet still you have to pick fault with a single player, its people like you that made MON leave in the first place, for once can we have a bit of solidarity, get behind the players who are all obviously playing a lot better recently and lets not start acting like a bunch of primary school children. LCFC forever.

The fact that the team performances as a whole have been better expose the underperformers - that's why players are singled out for criticism, because before they looked bad, but now the team's playing better they look even worse.

I think people are almost paranoid - they're looking for the potential problems we may encounter, if say our left back position is exposed. And they have a point to some extent - it's not Nisse's best position, so there's a chance his weakness there may cost us at some point.

Tiatto gets stick too - if you play him at left back he's likely to give away a dangerous free kick, or possible find himself sent off. If you threw him into the current (winning) team and he made a very rash tackle that cost us a free kick, he'd suddenly look a damn sight worse than everyone else - then people would, without hesitation, jump on him for it. And you can't really blame them.

People are identifying the weak links, and expressing their doubts about the abilities of the player in question - sometimes with good reason, sometimes unjustly.

It's what football fans do - on the whole. Even Chelski fans have a good old bitch about some of their underperforming nonces.

Ahh thanks, i had an idear you would result to a comment like that, which pretty somes up your match ratings of today.

To back Cobbo up, i think Johansson had a great game. He was exploited couple of times by Ricketts, but lets not forget the battle he had with Carl Cort. Cort is on of the best centre forwards in this league by a mile, but Nissa had him in his back pocket all game. In fact, he was so ineffective he was subbed on about 70 minutes.

Also, on your comments about Gudjonsson. I thought he was pretty bad today. He runs around making it look like he's playing okay, winning the odd tackle, playing the odd good ball, but apart from that, he gave the ball away SO much i am simply astounded that you can say he 'pulled the strings' in midfield.

Weso looks twice the player IMO

Douglas - 8- best game in goal so far for city.

Stearman - 7 - few silly mistakes but generally good.

Paddy K - 8 - fantastic, so strong and what a confidence boost to hear he was voted MOTM

Paddy Mac 8 - Solid as usual and provided the crucial header for Fryatts goal, 1 mistake passing back though which got my heart beating.

Nills - 7 - good game considering his ankle. exposed a few times.

Hughes - 7 - showed good skill and a bit of pace. not a wide player so drifted in too much but not his fault entirely.

Weso - 8 - a brilliant prospect, hard, quick and skillful!

Joey G - 7 - average performance, drifted in and out of the game. floaty corners better than G.Williams ones.

Maybury - 7 - good going forward and good covering for Stearman when he was forward. may have played better had he not been ill but full credit to him for going on the full 90.

Hume - 7 - ran his socks off and won alot in the air. should of scored on 7 mins.

Fryatt - 8 - MOTM for me - ran his socks off aswell, at the centre of every attack, could have had another 2 goals in the 1st half. for someone who has "no pace" he caught there defenders a few times and in the right position for the goal.

Subs :

O' Grady - 7 - showed good skill and did well to hold the ball up a few times.

Yeah your right, there rearly is a few wankers on this board, did i criticise the rest of the team? no, try reading my posts properly.

The fact that i have singled johanson out from the begining is a result to my comments all above.

My comments were based on all johansons performances, not just yesterday's game.

I think Welowski was brilliant, I have only seen the young kid for about 10 minutes before the game, but he was outstanding..

Gareth will find it difficult to get back into the side with someone like him.

Douglas - 7

Another game where he's not had much to do. His kicking is still a nuisance though.

Stearman - 6

A bit of a mixed performance. Some of his distribution was woeful at times, something he needs to take a bit more care with. He also allowed players to cut inside of him far too easily. However, he was solid for most of it, but was particularly exposed in the first half with Naylor and Miller took advantage of a lack of cohesion between him and Maybury.

McCarthy - 8

Becoming a rock at the centre of defence. Wins everything in the air and seems to have struck a good partnership with Kisnorbo.

Kisnorbo - 8

First time I've been able to see him play there, but he was excellent - definitely his best position. Like McCarthy, aerially dominant and commanding and provides that physical element to the backline, which Gerrbrand doesn't.

Johansson - 7

Looks more comfortable at left back now. However, towards the end of the game, he allowed Ricketts to cut inside him a little too easily.

Maybury - 4

Poor. He didn't help Stearman much in the first half, and offered very little going forward.

Gudjonsson - 7

Battled away well and won plenty of challenges. Passing was a bit erratic though at times.

Wesolowski - 8

Superb alongside Gudjonsson. Plenty of energy and skill. Such a mature player for his age. He never paniced on the ball and played some good passes.

Hughes - 6

Worked hard, but not as effective as he can be, which is down to being played on the left. Provided Johansson with good defensive cover though.

Hume - 5

Didn't really get a foot hold of the ball and provided very little effect. Missed a great chance in the first half.

Fryatt - 8

One real chance, one goal - what we've been missing all season. Some of his hold up play was good, and he made some very clever runs. Just a shame the service wasn't slighty better.

Subs:

O'Grady - 6

Lively and energetic. Made one good run towards the end where he kept the ball under pressure and won a free kick to relieve the pressure.

kelly should keep a settled team and players should only be dropped from a team if things go wrong and we lose.

no one , now we are winning should just walk into the team.

nils may not be the most accomplished player in the team but he is obviously working because the team is winning.

Yep, having a headless chicken at left back is exactly what you want.

Keep that formation structured and all that.

Christ, you have the tactical nouse of David Pleat.

I thought the benchmark for complete lack of tactical nous had changed to Levein these days?

Douglas 7 - Didn't have alot to do, but when called upon he was spot on.

Stearman 7 - Defensively he was excellent, but as Scowy pointed out his passing was not as good as it has been but it must be hard to play at the level of performance Stearman has been playing recently. Still only 18, but his awareness is frightening. Pure quality.

McCarthy 8 - Rock solid, the captain we've wanted to see all season. As he gets older this lad will become wiser and the very few mistakes he makes will become extinct. Didn't give Cort or that Pole a sniff. He loves it here aswell.

Kisnorbo 8 - Just as good as McCarthy on saturday if not better. Looks a completely different player at centre half and didn't allow anything past him. He's so dominant in the air, long may it continue. Gerrbrand won't get a look-in at this rate.

Nissa 7 - Considering he nearly broke his foot last week, he played fluently. Had his best game for us at left back and didn't let much past him.

Maybury 6 - Didn't realise he was really ill, so hats off to him for playing the full 90 mins. Still doesn't warrant a place in the team but he battled well and kept tings ticking over.

Gudjonsson 7 - Not as good as he has played this season but still makes it hard for the opposition to settle on the ball. Is always going to be overshadowed by the Wizard of Oz but is still valuable to the team.

Wesolowski 9 - The ultimate player. Get him on a 10 year contract. Spoke to Time Davies at the weekend and he said James Wesolowski is extremely happy at the club. His tackling, passing, vision and work rate is the best i've seen at Leicester since Lennon.

Hughes 7 - Not a winger, especially not a left winger but still shows his talent. Worked hard and tried to feed the ball in to Hume and Fryatt, can't see why he doesn't play on the right with Smith on the left but beggars can't be choosers at the minute.

Hume 7 - Worked his socks off and it's a shame he didn't bury that close range chance early on. Excellent in the air for the size he is and Fryatt benefits from his style of play. Once he gets a goal he'll be back to his menacing sekf.

Fryatt 9* - Amazing. Natural finisher, skillful on the ball. Holds it up well, leads the line. Loves the fans, £350k? Can I have 10 more please. I think we've found a diamond. Wolves couldn't handle him.

Subs:

O'Grady 7 - Did what was required of him.

Spot on. The ref did well too but the old linesman was a bit dodgy.
