What a save yesterday from point blank range to keep us in front! Also made an excellent punch from the resulting corner. With an excellent kicking display to match and no real fault for either of their goals could Rab's day be numbered?

Would you be happy with Henderson as no. 1 next season given that money is going to be a bit tight and we might not be able to bring too many players in? Or would you prefer to stick with Rab? Or is a new keeper an absolute priority?

if money is made available i'd rather see it be spent on midfielders and defenders first, then look towards the keeper. i do think we could do with a new keeper, both rab and henderson have looked shakey at times, but i wouldn't have it down as number 1 priority.

as soon as we're definatly safe throw logan in for the remaining games to see how good his is when there is not great risk

I'm afraid he didn't get anything on that ball at all.

As I've said somewhere else, I gave Rab enough stick at the start of the season but after seeing Henderson I'd like him to come back in. He [Henderson] seems glued to the line for much of the game and does not command his area at all. He can occasionally make a good save but unfortunately there is more to being a goalie than that. I certainly wouldn't be happy with Henderson as number one next season, Rab maybe. As bluearmy says I'd rather strengthen other areas of the pitch first.

Rab wouldn't have even seen that one let alone save it!

But not sure either of them are the answer, we have been spoilt in the goalkeeper stakes for a while. Until this season.

I'd say get a new keeper!

Rab every day of the week. Henderson is not good enough for us and the sooner we get rid the better

u being serious????

i thought he did fine today, cracking save, and kickin much improved!! i think he was shaky to start with coz lack of confidence, i would keep him there for now!!

Would have Rab straight back in when he's fit.

Henderson looks hesitant sometimes , not very quick off his line , I know Rab's a donkey but I think that his presense is felt alot when he's in between the sticks , and It Intemidates alot of opposing players.

YES I'm so happy with Hendo after that game. I thought 'damn, no...' when he didnt play well when he first came into the team, however yesterday's performance was great. Gutted Rab Douglas.. Gutted :D :D

yes i am serious. we are starting to play better football now and he is not good enough. New keeper please Mr Kelly

He hardly did much wrong yesterday - give him a bit of time in the team to prove what he's made of. I'm not going to judge him based on a couple of appearances.

Realistic replacements given our limited budget?

Stuart Nelson at Brentford would be worth a look at.

I have wanted Rab out and Henderson to be given a chance for ages, I am happy Henderson has been given his chance now, and now I have seen Henderson play a few times, I can see why Rab was No.1. Rab isn't much better but out the 2 i'd rather have Rab in goal. In the summer a new GK please.

Hendo is probably the better shotstopper.

But that's it. His kicking was way better yesterday (it could never be worse) but he always looks vulnerable at corners and crosses. And he has no command over the back four - which is fatal, so often - part of his job is to shout out who to cover, threats coming and when to push up. He just never does that - part of the reason that we've looked so vulnerable at the back with Paddy Mac out.

Rab is at least in constant communication with the defence, looks safer at crosses, and seems genuinely happy for the team when we score. Difficult for him coming in after Walker who was clearly a class above, but given the wedge we'll pay at the moment, probably about the best we can get.

But it seems to me, half of our problems come from set pieces. I reckon in training, they practice corners - attack against defence - and the defence come off happy since no-one got a head on the ball. Missing the fact that the attack never get their head on the ball from our corners - and then they're surprised when some opposition can deliver a quality cross in...

hoult with both rab and hendo gone and logan as no. 2?

At least Hendo hasn't come running off his line and bodychecked an opposing striker yet.

I think you mean scythed the attacker, because some of Douglas's challenges have been wreckless and plain stupid - and have cost us on a few occasions.

Douglas is older and slower.

If a Scottish club wanted to take him off our hands at the end of the season we shouldn't knock them back.

I think Henderson has done good in the games he has played. He pulls of some cracking saves, one yesterday, one at Ipswich and he won us the Cardiff cup game.

So i say keep him because i dont thnk he has done nothing wrong so far.
