(Which I spose it's good that the summer goes slow...even though theres no football - But Saturday afternoons are soooooo boring! ) At the end of last season I wasn't expecting us to do much this season anyway (I didn't expect us to be so bad this season, but I knew we wouldn't do very good) but I was still dying for the season to start again. This season after watching our impressive recent form I have to some hope and expectation for next season. I'm not gonna expect too much but mid-table/challenging for the play-offs.

Even pre season freindlies are boring i find it very hard to get into them, just look at Celtic and Inter - two relativly big clubs and we failed to get more than 32000 people in for both of these games put together.

Same here, I was on holiday for Inter Milan, but went to the Celtic game was really excited about it then the game started and it was boring plus the focked one of most exciting prospects

Does'nt seem like last week I was sat in Brammal Lane with my head in my hands We've had some positives this season though , Fryatt and Hume being two. It's a bloody good job the WC is happening this summer , keep us all occupied!

But alas, there's nothing like watching/listening to the team in action. I bet we go somewhere crap for our pre-season tour ... somewhere poor, where the football is terrible and the locals are all fierce bearded types looking for a good fight. Scotland it is then :laugh: Still, with any luck, Craig Levein's new team will be one of the stops, and we'll stuff them with our reserve team.

I should be in germany for the final group game-quarter finals.Not planning on seeing any games though (800 minimum for england games on ebay!). My anglo-german friend from uni has 2 tickets to the 2nd round in Munich where england could be playing depending on where in the group they finish.he got them through his dads' company...for 60 euros each!Disgracefull really.He's going to sell them! Can't wait for the season to end personally.Ive had enough for this season. Having nothing to play for takes the edge off the game.would be nice to finish on a high although I hope huuuume and fryatt get a non-career threatning injury (ie broken hand) ,because on current form, theyre not going to be with us at the beginning of the season. just put them out for the last few games and cool a bit of interest in them. Reading seemed to like the look of huuuume.I wouldnt be surprised to see them come in for him in the summer!
