The People's Hero Posted 9 April 2006 Posted 9 April 2006 Work tomorrow. Nothing on TV. Waiting for a sunday lunch which will never come. Fate is taunting me with the prospect of some bare-faced-pubbery. In fact, I think we can all agree that I've done remarkably to resist it this long. So to the pub to drink beer, talk about women and football and win the jackpot from the frootie. Who's with me? Thought not. Bunch of nancies.
Bert Posted 9 April 2006 Posted 9 April 2006 Sunday's are so boring. YAWN. Meh, least i've got a footy match at 16:30 GMT.
The People's Hero Posted 9 April 2006 Author Posted 9 April 2006 Ah... yeah. That's it. I always used to play football/cricket on a sunday. I still do the cricket thing but football is long gone. I played a couple of days ago and I still ache now. I was supreme I have to say though. My touch has completely deserted me now. Nevermind. My mate is on his way round in a cab so we can go to the pub. Laziness eh? Never forget da da da da da - Take That said that once. Good advice.
Nationwider Posted 9 April 2006 Posted 9 April 2006 I wish I had Sky. I'm waiting 'til I move house, but God, could I use it this alvo for the football?! As usual, I've left a load of work until late on Sunday afternoon to complete. And it's bloody freezing here.
Bert Posted 9 April 2006 Posted 9 April 2006 Well... It's pi55ing it down here. . . I'm well looking forward to slipping over on the astro turf and battering my legs up.
Jordan Posted 9 April 2006 Posted 9 April 2006 Well, I get to watch what should be a thrilling and competitive match of U-12 in association football this afternoon. Umm, yeah. But the Yankees are on TV at 3:35, NY Rangers on at 7:30, I'm set. When it comes to sports in the U.S., Saturday < Sunday (though I think Congress just passed a law or something mandating that we spend all day Sunday in church now)
Cat Burger Posted 9 April 2006 Posted 9 April 2006 3 matches in a row on sky! I am now full up on football for at least 4 days. Trouble is, now I want to play
Benji Posted 9 April 2006 Posted 9 April 2006 As usual, I've left a load of work until late on Sunday afternoon to complete. Yer me too.... oh wait! 2 week easter hols YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Nationwider Posted 9 April 2006 Posted 9 April 2006 Fate is taunting me with the prospect of some bare-faced-pubbery. Quote of the day.

YESSSSSSSS, no College for 2 weeks (Even though college is a day per week), I'll happily take work over college

Scow Posted 9 April 2006 Posted 9 April 2006 Usually the only day I have for a (much deserved) lay-in. It's nice to know that I'll have a 4 day weekend, tripling my dose of lay-ins.
Guest Posted 10 April 2006 Posted 10 April 2006 Sundays are not long enough. We should have more hours added to it, perhaps even have a Sunday 2 added to the week.
The People's Hero Posted 10 April 2006 Author Posted 10 April 2006 Roll on next sunday for some more bare-faced-pubbery. By the way, the fruitie wouldn't relinquish it's jackpot to line my crumb-filled jacket pockets. Pah.
Guest Posted 11 April 2006 Posted 11 April 2006 The fact that the following Monday is a holiday should make the bare-faced pubbery even more alluring.

The People's Hero Posted 12 April 2006 Author Posted 12 April 2006 After this Easter weekend thing, I'm giving up beer for a while. Red wine will continue to be the drink of choice. This change will coincide with me giving up playing the fruitie and instead going to the gym. A sad day for the landlords round here.. Bet you all really wanted to know that? No? Yes?

You want to go to a gym with a bar, so you can have a tipple after you have been to the gym. Answer to everyones problems.
