Among the few who are left in competition for a playoff place and a trip to Cardiff, which of the following four teams would you like to see promoted and why? Watford Preston Leeds Crystal Palace I'd like to see Preston go up, they've never been that far before (correct?) and they have history. I got a certain dislike for Leeds. Nationwider Posted 17 April 2006 Share Posted 17 April 2006 I'd like to see Watford go up as Boothroyd has had a tremendous first full season in charge and thoroughly deserves his success. Secondly, I'd like a southern team to go up as I usually travel to Preston and Leeds with them being a bit nearer to me. I think dirty Leeds will win the play-offs though. Out of the teams i'd like to see Preston go up as they've never been in the Prem before and the way they've played the last 2 seasons they probably deserve it. Source Sheff Utd 1-1 Leeds Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock needed a police escort as he was sent from the touchline during a fiery derby against their Yorkshire rivals. Warnock was furious after Gary Kelly's late tackle on Blades defender Craig Short just before the break. The promoted Blades were ahead after just 10 minutes as Eirik Bakke headed an own goal past Neil Sullivan.
