Shrek was also in there I've seen Matt Heath in there a couple of times, also in the Showrooms which incidently is having it's 'closing down' party this weekend, so there should be loads of free\cheap booze flying around, fi anyone is interested!!! Any of em say anything interesting!!!

Dr The Singh Posted 26 May 2006 Posted 26 May 2006 Why is Show Rooms closing down? I'm not busy this morning so I will give you the whole jist!!! My brother in law is a bar man there, basically the owner owns the whole building block, flat's etc and was using the bar to lower his tax payments hence he was never bothered with profits. The bar manager was the boyfriend of the owners daughter and has basically got bored of being a bar manager and hence over the last few months has not made any real profits and was due to shut down in 6 months but the manager has decided abruptedly to go to New Zealand. It looks like the owner may lease the property out to a chain or restaurant\fast food joint. Basically they have 6 months worth of booze left, if your going go early as it is going to be full capacity, all the bar men are going to be on the piss, plus it's closing so I don't think they will give a damn!! I'm afriad I have another party to go to otherwise I would be there, i'm gutted, i've been to SHowrooms many occassion and got pissed for nothing (not by theft the manager always sorted us out)!! Just a tip, if free\cheap booze is going, go for the £8 a shot Hennessy brandy!!!

I think Louis Dodds walked passed me the other week with his girlfriend, im not sure where we were though Actually thats probably the most uninteresting and pointless thing ive ever put. I apologise
