davieG Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 There seems to be a lot of shirts with a'Y' shaped logo on them, it looks vaguely like a Puma can anyone confirm this? I'm not keen on the Italian shirts with the built in sweaty armpits
Bert Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 Italy do have their kits made by puma. On the kit topic, how nice is the Nike goalie jersey?? I really like it!
davieG Posted 12 June 2006 Author Posted 12 June 2006 Is that what you're referring to? That's it, quite a few countries I think, so it's Puma then. Does that mean my old Puma T-shirt is fashionable again?
Ricey Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 I like all the Puma kits, Japans is the nicest. Japans is made by Adidas
Tommeh Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 I no sorry should have said, I meant to say i like all the puma kits but the Japan Adidas one is the nicest
Ricey Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 I no sorry should have said, I meant to say i like all the puma kits but the Japan Adidas one is the nicest Most of the Nike kits this year are very dull or too retro, for once I prefer Addidas designs.
Bert Posted 12 June 2006 Posted 12 June 2006 That's it, quite a few countries I think, so it's Puma then. Does that mean my old Puma T-shirt is fashionable again? That depends if the Puma is like the one on the kits!!
Ric Flair Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 It is odd how loads of teams all have almost identical kit designs. I do quite like the puma kits, but it's strange that countries have been keen to have the same design as alot of other countries.
Guest Gist Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 The Puma kits this year are quite nice I like the Ivory Coast one. My favourite kit is Argentinas though
Master Fox Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 Angola have officially the worst kit in the World Cup so far! It's absolutely rubbish
Bert Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 The best kit in the world cup is any goalie kit produced by Nike!
Guest Gist Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 Are they all the same style, just different colour?
Ricey Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 It is odd how loads of teams all have almost identical kit designs. I do quite like the puma kits, but it's strange that countries have been keen to have the same design as alot of other countries. The way it works is: - Adidas/Nike offer club/nation lots of money to make their kit - Club/nation takes the money - Adidas/Nike produce their kit based on their template which they use for various teams - The kit looks nice (most of the time) so it proves popular, however it has no uniqueness but I guess as long as it looks nice and is in the team colours people will buy it.
Bert Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 Are they all the same style, just different colour? Yep, with obviously different badges. Holland's is really nice, so is Mexico's.
Louise Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 How about these kits.... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2...=genre%3Acomedy
Daggers Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 i thought puma was gay code for put up my arse *gosh* Thanks for that, I'll be very careful now when I next take the kids to the zoo...
