Louise Posted 2 July 2006 Posted 2 July 2006 Hang on, if Tiatto is staying... then does that mean he's still club captain? That he'll be wearing the armband for '30+' matches ahead of the likes of McCarthy?!
Nationwider Posted 2 July 2006 Posted 2 July 2006 Hang on, if Tiatto is staying... then does that mean he's still club captain? That he'll be wearing the armband for '30+' matches ahead of the likes of McCarthy?! If everything goes to plan, they should be able to dovetail their suspensions. They can take turns to wear the armband or sit in the naughty corner.

davieG Posted 7 July 2006 Posted 7 July 2006 Let's hope this calming down in training doesn't mean he's 'bombing around in greater intensity' in games. He needs to slow down full stop. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From Blue Army: I'll learn to calm it down Leicester City's dynamic midfielder Danny Tiatto knows he has to strike the right balance between commitment and caution. Set a target of 30 games by City boss Robert Kelly, the Australian knows his 33-year-old body, however willing, will need to be treated sensibly during his new one-year deal at the Walkers Stadium. His years here have been dogged by injury problems and he has been told he cannot continue to bomb around in training to the same intensity as during games. Tiatto said: "I think I am going to have to learn lessons from my previous seasons and hold back a bit in training, save myself for the games and go for it then. "It has been a problem for me throughout my career, to get out there and go for it even in training, so I just have to be a little bit smarter this time and look after myself, not push myself too hard. "Those 30 games will be a target for me too, and hopefully there will be a few victories in there as well." Tiatto's return preserved the Aussie contingent with Paul Henderson, James Wesolowski and Patrick Kisnorbo. They are all buoyed by the Socceroos' good showing at the World Cup and Tiatto is optimistic about what the season ahead might hold for City. He said: "It was a long break but it is always good to be back. I can see the manager has got a plan to take the club forward and, in adding new faces to the young players we have got here already, we are going in the right direction. "I want to be part of it so there was no hesitation in wanting to come back. "It is good to see the enthusiasm among the Aussie boys. We are all going for it in what might be my last season - but might not be!"
Katy Posted 7 July 2006 Posted 7 July 2006 If he plays on a regular basis then im willing to bet £20 he gets sent off within the first 5 games of the season.
