Cat Burger Posted 30 June 2006 Posted 30 June 2006 Sepp Blatter: "I am happy that the play at this World Cup has been very attacking. The only exception is England"(Blatter wants us out of the competition) Horacio Elizondo - the referee: "England will play with one or two touches at first, then they'll quickly hit the ball long upfield. "I'll need to be very alert for collisions and brawls as the ball is up in the air more with them. (expect one or two sendings off for England) "Portugal play it more on the deck. There is more technique to their game, and it is more like Argentina's." (so this Argentine referee favours the Portuguese - England will lose)
dandannieldanok Posted 30 June 2006 Posted 30 June 2006 You might have a case with the ref thing but what's Blatter's nonsense going to do to affect us?
Cat Burger Posted 30 June 2006 Author Posted 30 June 2006 He is responsible for us having that ref in the first place!
bigneville Posted 30 June 2006 Posted 30 June 2006 So because Sepp Blatter thinks we're not playing attacking football it means the game is going to be biased so that England go out..... Dream on.....
Cobbo Posted 30 June 2006 Posted 30 June 2006 So because Sepp Blatter thinks we're not playing attacking football it means the game is going to be biased so that England go out..... Dream on..... I'm sure the buggerer was not dreaming.

Thracian Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 Blatter epitomises the appallingly sorry state of football's integrity today.
MC Prussian Posted 1 July 2006 Posted 1 July 2006 Blatter is an utter Twitter ... and a total disgrace for my country. I wish you well today.

Unlike Blatter I am sure he would not care or if he did he would be far more diplomatic about it and keep his gob shut.
