Floating Fox Posted 21 November 2007 Posted 21 November 2007 Are you suggesting Manwell thinks himself a "celebrity" without doing anything to earn that status?HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 November 2007 Author Posted 21 November 2007 Don't try and use me as a scapegoat. A lot of the problems McClaren faced were inherited from Sven, who let the players fool themselves into thinking they were "celebrities" without doing anything to earn that status. But it's a habit that's easily acquired, isn't it Manwell? I'm not trying to use you as a scapegoat you self rightous twat, I believe that you were the one who came into this thread desperate to defend themselves without me even using their name, and I wonder why that could be. Your attempts to vindicate yourself are both sad and pathetic, I am actually wondering how long it will be before you start bringing my inabilty to use perfect English back in the equation just as it really is all you have left. and if you really think Sven is to blame for all this your having a absloute G-raf. I really don't know were to start, the problems lie in team selection for one and tonight and is a perfect example, the evil horrible David Beckham was once again dropped, and once again it was our downfall. McClarens hall mark, the thing that made him famous, was his ditching of David Beckham, how ironic it was that he was one the players that clawed us back into the game after being left out, it sums up our qualfication campaign perfectly, too little, too late. If you think I've earned celebrity status on here through anything else but merit then I suggest you talk to Thracian and the rest of you new best friends about me. I'm not James, I don't mess about with you because your a twat thats easily worked up.
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 November 2007 Author Posted 21 November 2007 Also, how many of Svens "celebs" played tonight. Yet it's all down to Sven, back out before I make you look even more stupid. EDIT: SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, this is why people have more respect for me than you. If I'm wrong I admit, not ignore it and hope it goes away.
Ultra Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 I'm not trying to use you as a scapegoat you self rightous twat, I believe that you were the one who came into this thread desperate to defend themselves without me even using their name, and I wonder why that could be. And who was it who resurrected this thread in the first place? I can't believe you have the nerve to accuse ANYONE of being self-righteous... Your attempts to vindicate yourself are both sad and pathetic, I am actually wondering how long it will be before you start bringing my inabilty to use perfect English back in the equation just as it really is all you have left. Oh, but it isn't, not by any means... and if you really think Sven is to blame for all this your having a absloute G-raf. Beckham was dropped because he deserved to be, simple as. He'd been under-performing at club AND national level for too long. Fair play to him for working his way back into the side at the end of last season, but he wasn't fit tonight and therefore played a limited role in the game. If you think I've earned celebrity status on here through anything else but merit then I suggest you talk to Thracian and the rest of you new best friends about me. I'm not James, I don't mess about with you because your a twat thats easily worked up. I have talked to Thracian, who is admittedly more sympathetic to you than I am (that's not difficult), but it makes no difference. I really cannot understand why you are hailed by some on here as some kind of "football genius" when there are many City fans of my acquaintance (both on here and in the real world) who've forgotten more about the game and the club than you'll ever learn. You may think you're a big shot after your "duels" with Ash/Champagne Supernova, but this time you are fighting way, way out of your depth. Finally, given that your two principal achievements to date this season have been... 1) getting banned from City home games and 2) almost causing FoxesTalk to close down (ask Mark, he knows the story) ...you're not really in a position to lecture ANYBODY, are you?...
Floating Fox Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Ultra, What is the need to bring up the fact he was banned from a game. The fact he did nothing wrong to start with! That to me, makes him a better person, because he isn't prepared to put up with (Well most of the time) the crappy regualtions that your generation just let the FA plaster, and ruin, our beautifull game. I didn't mean to take this thread of track, of even away from your pathetic duel, but something like that gets right on my tit. Dicks like you that think being thrown out is a negative thing
FilboFox Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 im a fan of Mclareni am sure he will do a better job than the swede hopefully he will have the balls to drop big players when they arnt performing, unlike Sven with his bum boys of Beckham and Owen And what the fock was Sven thinking, taking 4 strikers to the world cup - 2 were recovering from injury and someone who has never even played Premeirship football ..................................

Well the abuse I suffered at the time warrented it being bought back up if I was right, it bought back up as a bit of a refernce point. It wasn't suppose to cause an argument, cleary someone doesn't like being wrong. Beckham never "under performed" for Real, he was dropped for signing for LA galaxy and I know you know fuk all about European football based on your assements of other national teams. Apparently the Russians are on par with NI and we should of qualfied for the Euros easily. Aside from that, the world cup saw us score against Paraguay from a dangerous David Beckham free kick, saw us score against Trinidad and Tabago from two Beckham assists, and saw us qualify for the quarter finals from a David Beckham free kick, the poor blokes been scape goated by moronic idoits like you till he was dropped since when Lampard and Gerrard have picked up the mantle. And as I pointed out Thracian, the person you voted most knowlegeable on football (and if this is the kind of bloke your judgeming me against, he'll be the first to admit that when it comes to current world football, he doesn't even come close) has a respect for me, I have a respect for him for different reasons. Also in your own way your showing respect for me by attempting to adapt my style of arguement, which most people will no doubt see, besides yourself of course. I should think you do know more people who have forgot more than I know about the game. I'm 23 years old I don't claim to know it all, however I'm still know enough to have made you look an fool here, before the Russia game, and over the Wham manager, when have you ever got one over on me. Short answer never, thats why people have a respect for me. I'm guessing this is the reason you decided to say that you know people who know more than me, not that you know more yourself. And while we're at it I would wager I know people who are my age who know more than you are your friends know and have forgotten put togther, again something Thracian will back me up on as he's had the pleasure of meeting one of my mates and he's one of the less knowledgable ones. Yes I got kicked out for trying to cheer on our team, again something anyone else without some sort of point to prove has shown sympathey towards me for, and insulting you, which is fair enough because to be honest, I have no idea what your like in real life, but on here, your just a cock who seems to argue with people in some sort of vain attempt to gain some kind of recognition when basically, all you are is a trouble causing, smug, unpopular, fat, sad, past middle age toss pot, who bosts about a teenage girls taking the piss out of him. And yes I've herd all about your court claims, in future come to me before the site. You coward.
Bojimha Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 blah blah blah..... Short answer never, thats why people have a respect for me. I'm guessing this is the reason you decided to say that you know people who know more than me, not that you know more yourself. blah blah blah. No offence dude but this is only a messageboard. Why do some people REALLY care this much? This sounds like its written by someone who is 12! , I am intoxicated though so maybe I'm reading it wrong. Anyways no offence meant, I just thought your thread was babyish and stooping to a pathetic level! In the long run who cares, get yours man, I'll get mine, he'll get his ! It's all good. I like some of the stuff you write mate but you looked like a dick with this post. Please still love me in the future (no homo). Peace.
Ric Flair Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Bumped.Because I think alot of people owe me an apollogy. Sorry for being a twat but I need something to make me feel better. Another topic that I was in full agreement with you. I get a lot of things wrong in football, but Steve McLaren isn't one of them.

It's not that I "care this much" mate he just winds me up, and I was probably twice as pissed as you when I wrote that . He's the one who seems to be impossibly jealous about a few people actually likening my posts. Your of course right reading that back is quite embarrassing, not because it isn't true but because I really shouldn't be stooping t his level of getting personal. I'm still right though.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 I love the way you can always admit you're wrong Manwell. Every time Ricardo Fuller scores against us comes to mind.
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 November 2007 Author Posted 22 November 2007 I love :Dthe way you can always admit you're wrong Manwell. Every time Ricardo Fuller scores against us comes to mind. Fuller can score all the goals he wants he's still a donkey how many did he get last season like 11? Hardly that impressive.
Alexikokopops Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Fuller can score all the goals he wants he's still a donkey how many did he get last season like 11? Hardly that impressive. Ormondroyd managed 7 goals in 77 league appearances for us, yet he's probably our most impressive striker to date. Stop hiding behind the stats maaaaaan!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Fuller can score all the goals he wants he's still a donkey how many did he get last season like 11? Hardly that impressive. Until I go to a game when he's playing and he doesn't score against us, I'm saying nothing bad about the bloke. It's the Barry Hayles Syndrome and you cost us six points every season. On that note, we've got Stoke away on the last day of the season.

Right, we're going, the night before I will perform some sort of voodoo ritual to lift the curse of Fuller.
Ultra Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Another topic that I was in full agreement with you. I get a lot of things wrong in football, but Steve McLaren isn't one of them. Well after being wrong about Craig "Best coach in Europe" Levein and (worse still) Milan Mandaric, I guess you've got to have something to boost your self-esteem... And for the record, the fact McClaren fcuked up big time does NOT mean we should look at Sven through rose-tinted glasses. As I said back when the thread was started, it's like comparing Rob Kelly with Peter Taylor. Sven was (and is) a greedy, disloyal, lazy egotist untroubled by conscience whose influence on those he commanded (players and coaches) was clear last night for all to see. Yes he's doing OK at Man City but that's not difficult, given the millions thrown his way by the sleaziest club owner in the Premier League (the only "honour" the fans at Eastlands will ever see..) If Sven's the answer, it's a moronically stupid question..

If Sven's the answer, it's a moronically stupid question.. Still not got the evidence to back up I said that about Craig Levein. I was pleased with his appointment as he did very well at Hearts before he came here. He ballsed it up here, I hold my hands up to thinking he was a better manager than he is, but most managers has a dodgy time somewhere. I've always admitted I often get things wrong anyway, where as you, are an absolute penis when you're proven wrong and can't admit it. As for Mandaric, he's neither proved me right or wrong yet. I was desperate for him to buy us out because I was sick to death with the boys brigade that were in charge before him.

Wherethefoxhat? Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Thank god he's gone. I believe we have a much better team than portugal and Sven should have taken us further, but his negative tactics and poor selections have let him down. Bring on MClaren and proper english football Ahem
Ric Flair Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Is that so, Even though half of the team played little or no part in the England team under Sven. Check your arguements you looney. Remember though Manwell, that Ultra was touting Manchester City for dead cert relegation because of Sven's appointment there. Another shining example of Ultra's pioneering football opinion, he'll never ever admit he's talking a load of bollocks because he'd need both hands on the keyboard for that.
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 November 2007 Author Posted 22 November 2007 From Ultras "MANCHESTER CITY 2007-2008 RELEGATION CANDIDATES" Thread Just heard an interview with Noel Gallagher on Five Live. He is NOT a happy bunny! And no wonder - the Man City takeover is close to collapse, there's no manager, key players have left and season ticket sales are falling through the floor. They could well end up in a Leeds-style meltdown. As if sharing a city with some of the smuggest fans on the planet wasn't bad enough.. From Wiki..Doesn't sound good for them, then... Not for the first time, the battle at the bottom of the Premiership promises to be a lot more competitive than the one at the top! And regarding Sunderland Yeah - judging by the recent signing of Greg Halford, they have a manager and chairman who know what they're doing. I dunno why I even bother with him to be honest.

Ric Flair Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 As a result of your actions That's likely to have been a load of bollocks anyway.
The People's Hero Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 I'm tempted to hear this story about Foxestalk almost closing down. Who reckons Ultra's huge but ultimately non-existant legal team might be involved?
