lookwhaticando Posted 24 July 2006 Posted 24 July 2006 The great striker-collector has thrust his hand into the transfer market, and bagged yet another. Rob Hulse this time, for up to 3 million after add-ons (initial fee is 2.2m, double what Leeds paid). Can he please come in for De Vries? BBC Sport
Mark Posted 24 July 2006 Posted 24 July 2006 Warnock has lost the plot completely. What a waste of money. £6 million spent on Rob Hulse and Claude Davis.

Makes you wonder how much he'd have splashed on Akinbadbuy if he'd waited until now (and people knew he had Premiership-level transfer funds available)
Ultra Posted 24 July 2006 Posted 24 July 2006 Very little quality in the blunts squad. I reckon it's between them and Watford for the wooden spoon.

Guest Gist Posted 24 July 2006 Posted 24 July 2006 Why do people when they get that sort of money pay so much they should just find bargains but still quality players because the chances are they will come down and have money problems because these so called million pound players will leave for less putting them in more trouble.
SystonFox Posted 25 July 2006 Posted 25 July 2006 rob hulse worth 3 million? then hume has to be worth 10 atleast...
NFFC Chris Posted 25 July 2006 Posted 25 July 2006 Claude Davies is a very good defender by the way but yes Warnock has made a mistake splashing £3 million on a average championship striker.I'm sure John Terry will be quaking in his boots after having to mark Hulse and Ade Akinbyi next season.

Akinbyi is diificult to defned against as you can't predict which part of his body the ball will rebound off.
Dr The Singh Posted 25 July 2006 Posted 25 July 2006 Akinbyi is diificult to defned against as you can't predict which part of his body the ball will rebound off. That's why he is so muscular, his body gets worked all over by the ball!!!

They won't have to sell anyone, as long as teams don't over spend a season in the prem can only strenghten them. Players will only usually leave after relegation if they have excelled in the prem and prem teams want them.
