davieG Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 I was driving near the City Ground the other day and I noticed a road sign saying: No Parking, Turning or Certain Maneuvers on Match Days What do they mean: Definition: A strategic or tactical military or naval movement. A large-scale tactical exercise carried out under simulated conditions of war. Often used in the plural.

Daggers Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 I'm pissed off because I thought they were going to keep Chelmsford under wraps.
Alexikokopops Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 I've been to that! It's near Dundee not chelmsford though Nope, it's near Chelmsford, in a place called Kelvedon Hatch. Took a detour on a car journey to find it but it was closed when we got there.
The People's Hero Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 ' date='Aug 2 2006, 11:47 PM' post='361657']Anyway, here's a picture my mate took. Training? To do what? See again?
Alexikokopops Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 Training? To do what? See again? Being blind's not just about not being able to see yunno.
Alexikokopops Posted 2 August 2006 Posted 2 August 2006 It's a pretty big part of it, to be fair The still need the training. Fact. Where would we be if blind people were just walking about willy nilly. I'm not sure how far down the politically incorrect road I've wandered so far, but there's a chance we might just trek that little bit further.

If a guide dog went blind, would you simply switch it for a new dog, or have a new dog leading the blind dog leading the blind human (for the sake of continuity?) Also.. how do you teach a dog to read braille?
