Collymore Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 I'm listening to louis Armstrong 'We have all the time in the world' in an attempt to remind me that it's only the 1st game of the season Anyone got any other songs to fit the mood?
Cat Burger Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 Any Sigur Ros, that way you'll get a bit of both I think.
Nationwider Posted 5 August 2006 Posted 5 August 2006 After a heartwrenching defeat, some soft rock ballads from the likes of Heart, or maybe Whitesnake.

Mark Posted 8 August 2006 Posted 8 August 2006 name of song...album? Untitled #1 off ( ). Yes, that's the title of the album All of their songs off that Cd are similar to that song. It's an amazing listen, I recommend it.
Daggers Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 I listened to The Stranglers as I drove to home. Loudly. Songs such as 'Something Better Change' and 'No More Heroes'.

OBO Posted 9 August 2006 Posted 9 August 2006 Untitled #1 off ( ). Yes, that's the title of the album All of their songs off that Cd are similar to that song. It's an amazing listen, I recommend it. Definitely a brilliant album, kinda makes me want to go to sleep - but in a good way! (If that makes any sense...?!)
Daggers Posted 10 August 2006 Posted 10 August 2006 was it this weeks "free with the mail on sunday" version? If the Stranglers were given away with the Mail on Sunday then I'm destroying all of my LP's!

I remember watching England lose to Brazil at the 2002 world cup. As soon as the whistle went, the pub I was in started to play Stop Crying Your Heart Out by Oasis. That was perfect for the occasion and still makes the hairs on my neck stand up now.
