Matt Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 Very good, dunno what i'd do without it but does piss me off when the weathers shit, It ALWAYS fuks up, just gone crackley and breaking up on Sky Sports New so turned it over to another channel to see if it was happeneing on other channels and the bastard things frozen! Do the good old trick of pulling the plug for 60 seconds, plug it back in and it'll work...Anyone else have the same prob?
Libertine Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 Always. There are loads of trees behind our house too so that affects it badly.
oundlefox Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 When it properly chucks it down it just freezes the picture which can be a major league pain in the ass. Was waiting for it to happen tonight actually but touchwood been ok. They can put a man on the moon but we can't watch Sky TV when it rains.
cisono Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 They can put a man on the moon but we can't watch Sky TV when it rains. Not in England anyway. It is surprising how many things go wrong when it rains here, something that should be expected after all !!!
Knighton Matt Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 Seriously it's satellite. What would you expect?
Benji Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 Man can do many things, at the current time, however, we can't dictate the weather
Bert Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 Why don't you just fix it with your carpentry skills Matt?
filbertway Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 I blame the students. Bloody students He wouldn't have these problems in australia!!!! Great Britain is sh*t

cisono Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 Aol are apparently going to start doing a sky package. Maybe they will sort out the rain problem. Bertfox, have you done something to your hair recently?
Bert Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 Maybe they will sort out the rain problem. Bertfox, have you done something to your hair recently? No i haven't. Infact as a protest, until the UK becomes as good a place as Australia does and Students change their ways, i'm not going to do anything with my hair.
Nationwider Posted 23 August 2006 Posted 23 August 2006 I'm getting it in December for the Ashes. Always said I wouldn't, but it's too tempting at £15 for 6 months. Might have to get an HD ready TV too as the social life's gone down the pan!
