billabob Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 They are really getting on my tits now!!!!! Special 9am delivery for me, its 9.15 and no sign of it yet, on the tracking thing it says it should be here by now and its not, and we normally get our post at about 2/3pm so im annoyed, only good thing is that i will get my p and p re-embursd but still, its annoyed me so i thought id vent my anger!
Daggers Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 What price the Posty is off sick today, so the lad from the agency who hasn't had his references checked out is sitting in a cafe opening up everything in his bag? Happens in our street every other bloody day - Posty is ALWAYS off sick...on those days we're lucky to get a delivery before midday if the temp can be bothered!
Bert Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 My bleedin' postman gave me a letter from LCFC this morn'.
Guest Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 Or you get the postie who throws your brand new cd over the 6ft garden fence because it won't fit through the letterbox, and breaks it. Or that lovely paperback you've ordered from Amazon, but only on rainy days; if it's dry he takes it to our nearest collection point which isn't the post office half a mile away, but the depot in Campbell Street which has no frigging parking.

andyh1884 Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 Royal Mail stole one of our wedding presents. They said they delivered it to our house and we signed for it, which was hilarious seeing as the date they said they'd delivered it we were on honeymoon. Managed to get the present off Next cos it's their responsibility to make sure we get it from their courier. They are scum

andyh1884 Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 Well maybe one or two of them are. Fair point, a broad generalisation, I'm sure there are some who carry out their job with integrity & punctuality. Just wish the ones round our way did instead of being thieving toerags but these things happen when you live in dirty cov I suppose
Nationwider Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 I've had 2 or 3 CDs from CD-WOW never reach me. To be fair, they've always replaced them - their online customer service is unbelievably good. We seem to have a new postman each week, and they usually look a bit dodgy. Being the judgemental type, I'm assuming at least one has been pinched by the thieving sods.
Wils Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 Ive never had any problems with royal mail. Perhaps they like me......
hairy Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 They keep putting bills through my letter box.......bast#*ds!
IDEA OR IKEA Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 They keep outting bills through my letter box.......bast#*ds! My postman is a gem - but when he is off some spanner just pushes it through ripping everything in site - rather than just posting a thing at a time - could not even read one letter because it ahd been mangled
billabob Posted 7 September 2006 Author Posted 7 September 2006 Just arrived, better late then never though i suppose!
Wils Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 Just arrived, better late then never though i suppose! Werth the wait...?

Ah, the benefits of living 100 yards away from my village Post Office ALso means that the posty doesn't mind taking it back because there ain't far to walk. No CDs thrown over the fence for me!!

Head Honcho Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 Well I had a lovely Paul Smith t-shirt sent to me yesterday at midday and I received it at 11am this morning. So I can't fault them on this occasion!
Guest Posted 7 September 2006 Posted 7 September 2006 ' date='Sep 7 2006, 04:16 PM' post='391857'] Ah, the benefits of living 100 yards away from my village Post Office ALso means that the posty doesn't mind taking it back because there ain't far to walk. No CDs thrown over the fence for me!! The worst thing is the postman has to drive past the post office to get into town to drop off the parcel. It then costs me 50p to have someone take to the post office for me to collect. Why not save everyone the hassle and take it to the post office?
