Your team and bench from now on!

Recommended Posts

We have had 7 competitive games now and pretty much 7 different team performances. I think now we the fans have had enough time to review the players and decide on a team we would like to see.

My team:

Henderson

Stearman

McCarthy

Kisnorbo

Kenton

Low

Williams

Wesolowski

Porter

Hume

Fryatt

Subs:

Logan

McCauley

Johnson

Tiatto

O'Grady

I thought Nisse looked quite good today, I'd keep him in move Kenton to right back but other than that I agree. Wesolowski needs to start ahead of hughes.

I can't have my team right now but I'm sick of compromise and I'm sick of disjointed, aimless football.

So the team I'd like is:

Henderson;

Stearman, Mccarthy, Kisnorbo, Sheehan;

Gradel, Hume, Wesolowski, Porter;

O'Grady, Fryatt.

Subs: Logan, Kenton, Williams, Low, Chambers/Dodds.

-------------- Henderson

Kenton - McCarthy - Kisnorbo - Sheehan

Gradel - Williams - Wesolowski - Porter

-------------- Fryatt - Hume

Subs: Logan, Stearman, Hughes, O'Grady, Chambers

We've got to learn to attack else we'll be in this division or lower for decades. I don't see the above happening but I'm trying to think of a solution and that's all I can think of that hasn't already failed. We've already failed to score in 4 out of 6 league games this season, it really is scary. I don't think any kind of ambition exists anymore.

Our teams differ but I totally agree with your sentiments! :thumbup:

completely agree with the first one that was posted, Thought Chris O'grady was too greedy today, should of passed on 2 occasions. If he had, we might have been celebrating a win right now.

he's a striker, maybe if fryatt was more selfish and stayed in the boxed instead of running into the corners he'd have scored by now

Logan.

Mattock, Mattock, Mattock, Mattock

Mattock, Mattock, Wesolowski, Mattock

Chambers, Dodds.

:thumbup:

What we need is a team of Mattock's. Dodds and Chambers up front. :D

Failing to find an extra bunch of Mattock's, I believe the team should resemble this.

Henderson

Stearman, McCarthy, Kisnorbo, Sheehan

Wesolowski

Low, Williams, Porter

Fryatt, Hume

Bench: Kenton, Logan, Gradel, O'Grady, Mattock. :ph34r:

Mattock can apparently be used anywhere down the left. Novel, and worth a shout.

:)

I've long thought Williams/Weso would be the best partnership, but Thrac's suggestion of Weso/Hume in centre-mid is mouth-watering. This then would be the team I would start with. Rob Kelly, please do it! :smile:

that is easily the most exciting midfield we can muster at the moment

I may well annoy people in saying this, and I myself have wondered sometimes whether it'd be an decent, but I reckon we should give Fryatt a spell on the sidelines, and limit him to only a 25-30 minute substitute appearance in the next few games. This worked with Hume, and would also allow Fryatt to recharge and re-assess things, as well as paving the way for somebody younger to come into the side and stake a claim to a first team shirt.

Thanks Finn.

I'd love RK to use that team as the basis for our future and given the choice between that team or RK -should RK not have the nerve to play it with conviction - then I'd rather have that team.

Maybe too many shorties in that midfield. Snow White might want a few of them in the next transfer window.

I agree but i'd rather have short palyers who can pass a ball than slightly taller players who cannot. playing hume, weso, porter and Gradel would force the defence to play the ball to feet.
