Daggers Posted 30 September 2006 Author Posted 30 September 2006 Theres only been 7 games ...and you spent the time doing that post...
lildave3 Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 1 Andrei Shevchenko 2= Carlos Tevez 2= Javier Mascherano Shevchenko has been shocking! And the Argies have just disrupted West Ham loads yet done nothing so would have to agree with you there
lcfc_jme Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 1 Andrei Shevchenko 2= Carlos Tevez 2= Javier Mascherano Agreed. For what Shevchenko cost Chelsea, we could have been just about debt free. For that price he has been abysmal, nowhere near the Shevchenko of AC Milan As for the two Argies, what purpose are they serving at West Ham? They are doing fook all useful and are merely ruining West Ham's team morale and style of play. Aren't they only there to get a feel of the Prem before joining Chelsea in a shock big money swoop in the summer?!?!?
lookwhaticando Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 Conspiracy theories abound regarding the Argies. They've really unsettled the Hammers it seems - ever since they joined, they've been absolutely wank on the field. For all the hype, I think their presence may actually do more harm than good at West Ham. Shame really, I liked WHU doing well in the premiership, certainly more fun watching West Ham beat teams than Tottenham and their long-ball for example.

You really do not like Tottenham and their style of play do you?? They weren't too bad last season, played some decent stuff. Seems as though they're struggling to adapt after losing Carrick to United, 'cos he was an integral part of their team last time around wasn't he??

Seems as though they're struggling to adapt after losing Carrick to United, 'cos he was an integral part of their team last time around wasn't he?? They did play some good stuff from time to time - and they did attack. But I just never liked them to begin with. As for their performance this year, Carrick was class for them, to be sure, but I don't think their wank start to the season can all be pinned on that. I think they overperformed last year, this year they're showing their true colours.

Daggers Posted 1 October 2006 Author Posted 1 October 2006 No, they'll be off to Spain in the new year. Not playing like this they won't. They'd be lucky to get contracts playing in Minsk.
lildave3 Posted 1 October 2006 Posted 1 October 2006 Wayne Rooney. He's scored more than Shevchenko and Tevez put together in the league this season.
lcfc_jme Posted 2 October 2006 Posted 2 October 2006 No, they'll be off to Spain in the new year. I was commenting on an earlier comment on a thread somewhere else that the company involved with taking them to West Ham were owned in part or full by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
Joe. Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Ok for all the people who are saying Shevchenko's a complete flop and waste of money so far here's a thing- In his first season, Theirry Henry only scored 4 goals by Christmas- I think he came good in the end...

lildave3 Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 but sheva is 30, henry still isnt. not got long to come good. They should have bought someone younger and maybe english, i.e Defoe. He knows what the premierships all about and i'm sure he'd jump at the chance. Then perhaps people would stop criticising Chelsea for pumping money into other countries. And if anyone says 'well he wouldn't play at chelsea', he doesn't play for spurs.
lcfc_jme Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Shevchenko has been quite tame infront of goal so far, but he is working very hard at other times. People are slagging him off because he's not scoring, but his contribution to the team has been pretty impressive. He should be banging goals in after costing that price, and he has quality service as well, but he is still settling in and adjusting. He's working hard and playing well without scoring atm, which is a start. Maybe people should look at what they were thinking about Fryatt when he wasn't scoring... (no I'm not saying that Chelsea's midfield is the same as ours and that Fryatt is as good as Sheva, but it's the same principle )
lildave3 Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 If Fryatt played for Chelsea, do you think he would score 20+ goals a season?
lookwhaticando Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 If Fryatt played for Chelsea, do you think he would score 20+ goals a season? If Didier Drogshit can score the number of goals he's bagged in recent games, then Fryatt could. It's all about the service. Without the service he gets, Drogshit would be just so.

Without the service he gets, Drogshit would be just so. Yes, he needs service. But there are very few strikers I would sooner have in my team than Drogba.
Daggers Posted 4 October 2006 Author Posted 4 October 2006 If Didier Drogshit can score the number of goals he's bagged in recent games, then Fryatt could. Nurse!NURSE! Patient Lookydo appears to have run out of his mediciine again! What have I told you about keeping on top of that? Godammit woman!
Bert Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 He's scored more than Shevchenko and Tevez put together in the league this season. Yes so what? Shevchenko and Tevez are both playing better than Rooney they just aren't scoring. Rooney has been shit very game he's played.
