Well done England, job done Half time and they deserve to be losing Their striker had 2 clear chances and wasted them both, aswell as a missed penalty. Just hope England can come out for the 2nd half and get an early goal. Then it will be job done.
davieG Posted 10 October 2006 Posted 10 October 2006 Just watched the last 30 minutes, I know the onus is on Germany to win but it looks like we're the team with ten men. Plus we're getting drawn into too many niggly fouls, so petulant these youngsters . Also has anyone told them you can't shoulder charge and certainly not into someone's back - 3 fouls conceded that way. I didn't think it was a penalty, although they had a more valid shout 5 minutes later. Definitely a sending off. All very scrappy from an England perspective
