Head Honcho Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 It's normal for away fans to out-sing the home fans.
Ashley Posted 15 October 2006 Author Posted 15 October 2006 It's normal for away fans to out-sing the home fans. Normal for away fans to out sing home fans ?? At filbert street leicester NEVER used to be outsung

After 4 years of paying to watch utter tripe my belief is starting to weaken and yet I still sing and shout but you obviously can't hear me.

I remember when we were trouncing Leeds 4-0 (with THAT Nalis volley) and I'm sure they heard the chants of "Leicester are back" in Nottingham and Derby. Give us something to sing about and we'll sing it loud and proud. Until then the atmosphere will be muted at half best.

davieG Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 ...... We need to encourge the team COME ON LEICESTER When I encourage people I expect some level of response after 4 years of turgidity (or perhaps just turds) that's not happened and I'm getting rather tired of this one way street of support.
Tommeh Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 If you are so bothered about atmosphere, can I ask why you sit in N1? Exactly my point it probobly is silent over there
Daggers Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 At school, many years ago, we were told to say "Play up!" and "Good show!" in a moderate to loud voice in order to encourage our school team. Maybe if we all tried that, it is much easier than shouting (which everybody knows is not very good for your vocal cords), the team would respond?
Unit Posted 15 October 2006 Posted 15 October 2006 They outsang us, we outscored them, I'd rather win the battle on the pitch than in the terraces.

Ultra Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 They outsang us, we outscored them, I'd rather win the battle on the pitch than in the terraces. True. Would be nice to win both, though...
Ashley Posted 16 October 2006 Author Posted 16 October 2006 Exactly my point it probobly is silent over there i sing but people just turn round and stear at me like wth going on ....... Still they outsung us
Sods Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 I was in the l1 for the 1st time and it was quality, a awsome atmosphere all the way through the game.
Tubes Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 the kop always makes a bit of noise about half way through the second half until the end as long as were not losing you cant sit in N1 and expect a good atmosphere there try moving to the kop or L1
Phube Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 It's that damn, 180dB shitty music at the start!!!
Unit Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 I went to an oxford united away game the other day in kidderminster, (my dad supports oxford) the whole kop end (taken over by oxfords huge fanbase) was singing from 20 minutes before the game until 20 minutes after, s'pose we need that sort of thing going on. about 6,000 oxford fans made more noise than us on saturday
Sods Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 Where are oxford in the league and just go to a big away match and that happens all the time
Head Honcho Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 I went to an oxford united away game the other day in kidderminster, (my dad supports oxford) the whole kop end (taken over by oxfords huge fanbase) was singing from 20 minutes before the game until 20 minutes after, s'pose we need that sort of thing going on. about 6,000 oxford fans made more noise than us on saturday Thats funny because only 2264 attended the game!! Am I missing something here?
Ultra Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 I was in the l1 for the 1st time and it was quality, a awsome atmosphere all the way through the game. Strange how no-one in the Kop heard L1. It's nothing to do with acoustics. We heard the saints fans well enough when THEY sang!
SystonFox Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 Strange how no-one in the Kop heard L1. It's nothing to do with acoustics. We heard the saints fans well enough when THEY sang! 50 L1'ers vs 2,000 Saints doesnt take a genius though. we need more singers towards the back of each section of the kop and get some songs going.
