Manwell Pablo Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 O'Grady At least he has youth on his side though. Hammond has no excuse!
Finnegan Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 Hammond has pace and is mildly more versatile.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 October 2006 Author Posted 16 October 2006 Focking desperate though innit. Our one-goal star striker is out through injury and these are the clowns we have to play up front with Hume (who has been fairly awful himself in many games this season.)

Dont worry it will all change when Milan comes
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 October 2006 Author Posted 16 October 2006 Poor COG. Worse than Elvis. I'd pack it in now mate if I was you.
Thracian Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 Ironic really cos I think Fryatt's contribution this season has been worse than both those two. But I know, he's the golden boy who we've paid "big" money for. However, before you scream in protest, Fryatt's scored one in eight this season so far and I said Gallagher's 1 in four wasn't anything special.
Finnegan Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 Disagree with you on the COG front, Thrac. I think Fryatt's performance so far this season hasn't really been that bad. A little bit of luck going his way and there'd be two or three more goals to his name. He's not been as good as we've seen him play - certainly hasn't looked like the messiah - but I think he's been a little unfortunate at the same time.
Sods Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 I think hammond and o'grady give 100 percent all the time and probably try to hard. Humey dosent all ways give us that but when he does hes awsum. Im not going to vote on this poll as it is another shite poll

Humey dosent all ways give us that but when he does hes awsum. Im not going to vote on this poll as it is another shite poll I knew I'd get one eventually. I don't give a rat's arse how many per cent they give, they are shocking footballers.
Sods Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 COG isnt shocking or he wouldnt be at the club anymore on the other hand elvis is.
Shum Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 I'm no great fan of Elvis, but everytime he plays we seem to get a result...
Tubes Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 COG isnt all that bad he will get better with experience hammond is quite simply useless all he can do is make himself a nuisence
Thracian Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 I'm no great fan of Elvis, but everytime he plays we seem to get a result... Frank Large was exactly like that in the 60's. The ugliest, most unlikely footballer for technique. But he became a cult figure and a hero with goals that hit his knee, bounced off his shoulder and what not. He was a sort of Danny Tiatto with attitude and far more effect. He left a trail of destruction in his wake whenever he went near the penalty box. But he would score when he had no business scoring.
Maybes Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 Hammond is a pest. Ok he hasnt got the greatest first touch, but he puts defenders under pressure, whereas O'Grady is just lazy.
Dr The Singh Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 Touch choice, neither have excelled when given the chance, but COG has potential, whereby Hammond will only remain as a one trick pony!!! THis thing about winning when Hammond plays will onyl go on for so long, probably until tommorow!!!
Tommeh Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 Hammond is better but both are GOOD players and deserve chances to prove themselves and no more slagging off!!
Wils Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 Hammond is better but both are GOOD players and deserve chances to prove themselves and no more slagging off!! Not even Elvis's shooting....
Tommeh Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 Not even Elvis's shooting.... could have a point there but hes still scored 1 more than fryatt this season and played half the games
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 could have a point there but hes still scored 1 more than fryatt this season and played half the games Well, you do make a very good point. Kudos.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 October 2006 Author Posted 16 October 2006 I think Hammond's better. And he's shit. But if O'Grady is worse, Dodds must be focking awful.
Thracian Posted 16 October 2006 Posted 16 October 2006 I think Hammond's better. And he's shit. But if O'Grady is worse, Dodds must be focking awful. Sell em all. Buy some more - at least you'll prove that its our midfield that's starving the strikers. It was no different Saturday either.
