Leonisco Posted 28 October 2006 Posted 28 October 2006 Did anyone see this? Trevor Brooking nearly managed to cock it all up when he misheard one of the numbers being called out! Although I suppose that's to be expected, he does work for the FA. And why the fock did they have Neil Back and Will Greenwood doing the draw? They have nothing to do with football. Anyway, here's the full draw Northwich have been drawn away to Brighton, so that should give Louis Dodds a chance to test himself against League opposition. Be interesting to see how he does. And one last thing - COME ON YEADING!!!
Milky Posted 28 October 2006 Posted 28 October 2006 greenwood said 3 and brooking thought he said 53. greenwood tried to make a wise crack now and again and made silly facial expressions, brooking looked like a footballer trying to present.
Mark Posted 28 October 2006 Posted 28 October 2006 Northwich have been drawn away to Brighton, so that should give Louis Dodds a chance to test himself against League opposition. Be interesting to see how he does. I don't think he's eligible, he didn't play in todays win anyway.
Ricey Posted 28 October 2006 Posted 28 October 2006 Why would he be ineligible? Just in case we need him for the FA Cup.
Leonisco Posted 28 October 2006 Author Posted 28 October 2006 Just in case we need him for the FA Cup. I can't see us denying him permission to play. We've got plenty of strikers and he desperately needs to be tested against league opposition.
lcfc_jme Posted 28 October 2006 Posted 28 October 2006 I can't see us denying him permission to play. We've got plenty of strikers and he desperately needs to be tested against league opposition. But if Fryatt breaks down again and the opposition kick lumps out of Huuuuuuuuume (which wouldn't suprise me tbh) then we'd be left with Elvis and COG. It'd be good then to keep Dodds available as an option to us
The People's Hero Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 I'm considering taking in Gillingham v Bromley and then following whoever wins each game, it will eventually lead to the final. What a great idea.
Katy Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 I might partake in Gainsboroughs game, it's only up the road (pretty much) The first round proper rocks!!!!

Guest Gist Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 Well gutted to have Yeading, wanted Notts,Mansfield or Lincoln .We have a realistic chance of getting through I suppose but you can never tell with us. Why Lincoln? there a decent side.
davieG Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 Why Lincoln? there a decent side. Because they wanted to get knocked out in a slightly less embarrassing way so they can concentrate on the league.
Head Honcho Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 It'll be a full house at Newport for the visit of the Swans. Don't know what they're going to do about segregation as normally there isn't any.

lcfc_jme Posted 30 October 2006 Posted 30 October 2006 Come on Yeading!!! I am going to follow Salisbury vs Fleetwood in the 1st round, and then I shall follow the winner in TPH-esque style until I eventually end up watching them lose in the final against City
