Leonisco Posted 3 November 2006 Posted 3 November 2006 So who's got their ticket for tonight's EuroMillions draw then? Just bought mine - £1.50 for a ticket that could be worth up £88 million is just too good to turn down! What with LCFC's good form and the Mandaric bid, I'm feeling lucky this week. You never know, if I win I might consider putting in a rival bid!
Leonisco Posted 3 November 2006 Author Posted 3 November 2006 Bugger. Knew I'd forgotten something. You can still get your ticket. Draw isn't till 9.55.
Guest Posted 3 November 2006 Posted 3 November 2006 You can still get your ticket. Draw isn't till 9.55. Need to get off my fat lazy arse. I know you can do it online........
Leonisco Posted 3 November 2006 Author Posted 3 November 2006 Need to get off my fat lazy arse. I know you can do it online........ Surely the chance to win £88m is a bit of an incentive? If you can't get up for that what can you get up for?

Those are the questions you should ask yourself before buying that ticket...
Stuliasz Posted 3 November 2006 Posted 3 November 2006 Unless there's a couple more rollovers, you're still not getting the odds to play. Chance of winning: 1 in 76 million and putting £1.50 into £88 million comes to around 1 in 59 million. So unless there's a couple more rollovers, its still not worth it.
Manwell Pablo Posted 3 November 2006 Posted 3 November 2006 Must say im quite tempted to have a dabble, 88 million Manwell Pablo new Chairman of LCFC.
Dr The Singh Posted 3 November 2006 Posted 3 November 2006 Must say im quite tempted to have a dabble, 88 million Manwell Pablo new Chairman of LCFC. I have just bought to tickets, like always, i'll never check em, well atleast for a couple of weeks, and then realise what a waste of money it was!!!

Cheers Strange how unscientific we humans tend to be when it comes to these things... (LWICD should be on top of these things, of course )

Phube Posted 3 November 2006 Posted 3 November 2006 Just a quick thought. If a bookie offered you 10,000-1 that Leicester would WIN the Premiership, FA cup and the Champion's League in 2 years would you think it's a good deal?? No because it won't happen!!! Now think about 79,000,000-1, which is more likely?? Infact there is a greater chance of dying before the draw than winning it!!
Swedging Posted 3 November 2006 Posted 3 November 2006 What are the odds of winning?!?! What are the odds of being the only winner? Those are the questions you should ask yourself before buying that ticket... Return to stake is not bad, as Sheffield Fox perhaps inadvertently points out, compared to most other lotteries. And good, if you're going to win.
