jumbo mills Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 i think if the mandaric deal falls through, we will be swopping places with forest. And look forwards to trips to yeovil and s****horpe.and our local derby will be the mighty northampton town. something to look forward to
sackmycook Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 why were were you also in 'go west young man'?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 I would love playing Northampton twice a season. Ideally in the Championship...
Matt Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 Yeah and 2 weeks ago we we're challenging for promotion...Thats how fast things can change, Fair enough we are on a losing streak but equally last month we didn't lose one match we won every match barr one and that was a draw.
jumbo mills Posted 28 November 2006 Author Posted 28 November 2006 matt i never said we was going to be promoted. at the moment we are crap. but if mandaric came in, ive no doubt we would finish mid table, and then next season challenge for promotion
Leicester Lass Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 3 points off relegation as it stands, deja vu anybody?
lildave3 Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 I don't think we will get relegated. Hopefully Milan's arrival will inspire everyone and lift our performances, at least then they'll know they're playing for their places.
lcfc_jme Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 3 points off relegation as it stands, deja vu anybody? Didn't like that song, it wasn't her best piece by far. What? We weren't talking about Beyonce? Oh, yeah, the City are fooked atm.
Leicester Lass Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 The only hope we've got is that other teams will do worse than us
jumbo mills Posted 28 November 2006 Author Posted 28 November 2006 losing at norwich isnt a disgrace in any normal season. but when you think colchester and hull got a point theret his season. Burnley walloped them 4-1 it puts into perspective
Glen_lcfc Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 We have gone full circle in just under a year, all we need now is a six game losing streak over xmas and drop into relagation just in time for the new year, except this year its coming early....
Matt Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 matt i never said we was going to be promoted. at the moment we are crap. but if mandaric came in, ive no doubt we would finish mid table, and then next season challenge for promotion I'm never said you said we we're going to be promoted my message was posted aimed at a whole at fickle fans and due to you message I tarred you with the same brush as the fickle fans. So hang on you've posted a thread saying we're going to be relegated 5 or some messaged in your changing your tune?
Maybes Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 Anybody remember when palace were 19th after 23 games.....then they ended up finishing 6th. Never say never.....that is me being very optismitic. Unless Milan seriously invests in the transfer market we will be finsih around 16th place.
Milky Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 southend and hull seem to be going down, which would leave one more space up for grabs.

And remind me the season Crystal Palace got promoted where were they in the table at christmas time? I'd just like to point out, I know i'm talking about promotion alot in this thread, I don't think for 1 second we will be promoted, However I don't think for 1 second we will be relegated.
Master Fox Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 4th season running now we've been in relegations battles. Shocking!
MC Prussian Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 For some reason, this reminds me of last season... Remember where we stood exactly one year ago? Same spot.
Simon Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 Anybody remember when palace were 19th after 23 games.....then they ended up finishing 6th. Never say never.....that is me being very optismitic. Unless Milan seriously invests in the transfer market we will be finsih around 16th place. It took a change of manager to achieve that though...
lildave3 Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 It took a change of manager to achieve that though... A change in manager could achieve much, much more.
Joe. Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 We won't be relegated. Milan will help us. Kelly will be gone, a good manager will be in and good signings will be on their way It's shocking that we are in a relegation scrap. I hate it
Bluefoxtim Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 Since MON every single manager we have had, has started well and things start to look up but then there is a slow decline into shiteness. BOOOOO

I hate it We might avoid relegation if Mandaric takes over, but then only by the skin of our teeth. Mandaric and any new manager will still have to work with this godforsaken squad of over-rated, glorified Division Two standard, wasters.

jumbo mills Posted 28 November 2006 Author Posted 28 November 2006 it is depressing that leicester city are scrapping at the bottom of the country's second tier league
lildave3 Posted 28 November 2006 Posted 28 November 2006 We need a good manager who knows what he is doing. A couple of quality players is all we need. And the rest. 3 midfielders and a striker at least.
