Libertine Posted 30 January 2007 Posted 30 January 2007 Correct. So why can't they get anyone brill supporting them? I'd rather have MCR tbh.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 January 2007 Posted 30 January 2007 Correct. So why can't they get anyone brill supporting them? I'd rather have MCR tbh. It's ok. Once they announce the Pumpkins you'll have less complaints.

C-man Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Klaxons , Wolfmother and one more. My money's on the Noisettes. However, Matt Bellamy said that he wants three bands on each night, so does that mean that there might be 3 different bands on each night? Anybody but Wolfmother and MCR Oh well, I'm there to see Muse and Wembley. Anything else is a bonus. I'm there on the 16th.
Foxy1984 Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 I really, really hope Klaxons play the night I'm there! Get the album if you haven't already!
Flynny Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 I hope they announce the last album was a practical joke soon.
Libertine Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 I hope they announce the last album was a practical joke soon. You really don't like it do you?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 The last album sounds ten times better live. Even songs I never listen to off that were fairly good.
Flynny Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 You really don't like it do you? Strangely enough I do, but that's really only a reflection on the high standard of the previous ones. And Fez, you're right, a lot of it will be way better live. Take a Bow is a bit too 'thin' on the album but I bet it's killer in a stadium. Shame I'm not going, really. Oh, and has anyone heard the 'Grand Omega Bosses' edit of Assassin? It's way better than the one on the album even though it's only tweaked slightly and a bit longer.
Libertine Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Yeh it kicks the album version's ass tbh. Take A Bow is amazingly amazing live.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 I've not heard that. Will have a look for it later. Take A Bow is one of the best set openers I've ever heard.
Flynny Posted 11 February 2007 Posted 11 February 2007 Yeh it kicks the album version's ass tbh. Take A Bow is amazingly amazing live. I'm listening to it now, actually for the first time in a while. What the HELL was the reasoning for kicking out that middle bit? It makes no sense.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Seems like three of the six support bands (three on each night) are going to be Klaxons (certain), Wolfmother and Bloc Party. Any thoughts?

Id be happy with that tbh. Id be even happier if Maximo park were included in the line-up, but anythings a bonus as im only going to be there for Muse.

Trumpet Posted 4 March 2007 Author Posted 4 March 2007 ??? Just thought id nudge this thread up abit and was a bit lost for words

Wolfmother are playing in Sweden on the 15th and America on the 17th. Seems very unlikely they'll squeeze in Wembly on the 16th.
