Trumpet Posted 4 March 2007 Author Posted 4 March 2007 I am a bit obsessed with Maximo Park at the moment. Are you going to see them in May? Im not unfortunately I think i tried to get tickets but i probably idnt have the money due to Muse... it was either Maximo park, or Meat Loaf I loved their first album and cant wait to hear some of their new stuff
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 March 2007 Posted 4 March 2007 Wolfmother are playing in Sweden on the 15th and America on the 17th. Seems very unlikely they'll squeeze in Wembly on the 16th. Makes perfect sense.
The People's Hero Posted 7 March 2007 Posted 7 March 2007 Makes perfect sense. Ok Illf Illf mem turado con pyschosis! I love the code Fez and I have devised!
Trumpet Posted 16 March 2007 Author Posted 16 March 2007 FAO anyone interested, 11:45, C4 - Muse video exclusive - Invincible. (The new video being shown first on C4) I bet its gonna be cheesey..

Trumpet Posted 16 March 2007 Author Posted 16 March 2007 Invincible is a shit song. I dont actually mind it I mainly like the solo at the end though, and itll probably be cut out
Mark Posted 16 March 2007 Posted 16 March 2007 Muse... I found their recent album incredibly cheesy in parts. Most notably in the middle of Knights of Cydonia when Matts voice totally ruins the song in the middle of the song, for me anyway. They've changed quite a bit since the greatness of Origin of Symmetry. Songs such as Citizen Erased and Micro Cuts were very original and the album as a whole had a lot of variety.

Have to agree, for me its probably: 1. Showbiz (Quality) 2. Origin (Not a single track i dislike) 3. Absolution (Because of hysteria, stockholme and other powerful tracks) 4. Black holes
Libertine Posted 16 March 2007 Posted 16 March 2007 Not a big fan of Absolution myself. I like more than I dislike, but the only tracks I love like anything from OoS are Hysteria and Stockholm Syndrome.
Trumpet Posted 17 March 2007 Author Posted 17 March 2007 Good video I like it a lot. Im rather impressed
Flynny Posted 18 March 2007 Posted 18 March 2007 That's actually dead good, Muse's videos are usually dire. Shame about the song.

The People's Hero Posted 12 April 2007 Posted 12 April 2007 Showbiz is the best album. Then it's descending in order of release.
