You say that I should explain my support of the death of any British soldier in Iraq to the families of a soldier who has died in Iraq. In the same breath, you say that I should explain my "views" to the families of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman. This sets up the implication that I support paedophilia. Personally, I'd drop all this wide-eyed innocence crap. You knew what you were trying to imply when you brought the emotive issue of Holly and Jessica into it. Your views being the important word. They're your views, it only implies that you support paedophilia if you have said so. I used the example I did as TBH your views are still twisted warped and would allow scum like Ian Huntley to walk about free as you no idea what you would replace the police force with. I'll drop the wide eyed innocent act when you drop the Hard done to Victim act. You may think sitting behind your computer posting Anarchist garbage makes you cool and differnt, it doesn't.

I stopped discussing the matter with you because you were verbally pissing on the memories of those who lost their lives. I'd be more convinced by this if you stopped posting when the discussion was still about September 11th. But that's not what happened. The conversation (for want of a better word) had moved on, and you stopped anybody from posting, rather than just withdrawing yourself from further discussion.

Stop talking guff. The implication was there for everybody, because of the way you structured your argument. Nobody supported you on that thread more than DB. Say what you will about his heavy-handed, uneven, hypocritical moderation style, but he is clearly an intelligent, perceptive person. At no point has he stepped in to say that you didn't make that implication. What does that tell you? There are many options for dealing with Ian Huntleys in an anarchist society. Letting them walk the streets isn't one of them. And can I remind you that the state, 1) Didn't prevent the deaths of Holly and Jessica, even though Ian Huntley was known to be dangerous to a police force beforehand. 2) Were more or less completely useless at tracking Huntley down. Yes, they got him in the end, but it took them much too long. The system you advocate allows paedophiles and murderers to walk the streets everyday. The state is completely ineffective at dealing with crime. Remember that when you start bleating about two girls who were killed by the negligence of officialdom.

Anarchists want to see a change from the current set-up of capitalism, big business, profit-before-people, militarism, globalisation, US hegemony etc, etc. The possibility of these things being undermined would exite any anarchist.
