The defender's tackle looked perfectly fair and I wouldn't be surprised if Poll realised that on reflection. Instead of Poll compounding his first mistake by sending the defender off for showing his frustration Poll took the sting out of the whole situation and the game continued without unnecessary uproar. Okay it wasn't the letter of the law but the that's because sometimes the law is an ass and leads to ridiculously unfair consequences.

Main game will be either swansea v sheff utd followed by brum v geordies hopefully we'll be on there somewhere. I'm hoping they'll show L1 when celebrating the 2nd goal cos everyone went fookin nuts as usual but I stood on a seat at the back row going mental so look out for me.

They choose the featured games beforehand and assume it will be a cracker. How wrong were they...
