lildave3 Posted 22 February 2009 Posted 22 February 2009 Oh my god that was absolutely stunning. :w00t:
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 22 February 2009 Posted 22 February 2009 Oh my god that was absolutely stunning.:w00t: I know, I swear Linekar has had them whitened.
lildave3 Posted 22 February 2009 Posted 22 February 2009 Di Michele has had a shocker with that effort.
Tilley Posted 22 February 2009 Posted 22 February 2009 Fulham 2-0 West Brom, twenty minutes (ish) left. Could be 6 in truth.
MC Prussian Posted 22 February 2009 Posted 22 February 2009 Nice save from Schwarzer. Get in - in my FPL team already - points galore!!!
Simi Posted 22 February 2009 Author Posted 22 February 2009 Vile challenge from Nolan. Thought it was harsh at first, but fair play to Mason. Good decision. Horror tackle.
Tommeh Posted 22 February 2009 Posted 22 February 2009 Kevin Nolan you dirty fu ck. That was a diobolical tackle. Yes shock horror I'm awake watching a live game. Games like this are so much more appealing than the big 4 bum fest which usually dominates sky.
Fox You Forest Posted 22 February 2009 Posted 22 February 2009 Vile challenge from Nolan. Thought it was harsh at first, but fair play to Mason. Good decision.Horror tackle. What makes it worse is he has the nerve to look shocked and ask the ref what was for.
JoeyB Posted 22 February 2009 Posted 22 February 2009 Booooooooooooooooooooooooobby Zamooooooooooooooora
Ultra Posted 23 February 2009 Posted 23 February 2009 The baggies were shocking - especially Bednar with his penalty miss. No wonder Chiles's face looked even grimmer than normal..
Anish Posted 2 March 2009 Posted 2 March 2009 Anyone see MOTD2 last night? Jonathan Pearce made an absolute tit of himself. As soon as Villa scored the 2nd goal yesterday he kept going on and on and on about how they've wrapped up victory, moved 8 points clear of Arsenal, how dominant they have been and how they're so close to the Champions League. Buffoon!
JoeyB Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 What an awful game Blackburn Everton was. Yepp, Jason Roberts should have buried his chance. guessing no MOTD tonight?
Big Ol' Bob Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 Watch the highlights of the Wigan game tonight. Carlton Cole for West Ham scored possibly one of the goals of the season. Beauty!!
Joe. Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 Yepp, Jason Roberts should have buried his chance.guessing no MOTD tonight? 10.45 BBC One.
StanSP Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 As much as I hate players suffering terrible injuries, apparently Jack Collison's injury tonight was horrifying. I want to see tonight if it was as bad as Jimmy Bullard's when he played for Fulham. If so, I feel sorry for him as he has injured it so early in his career. But then again time is on his side to recover if it is really bad. Anyway, plenty of goals to watch tonight

Was pretty horrific viewing much like the Behrami one that happended for them against Man City. He went to control the ball on his knee, and as he bought it down he went to turn, his studs got caught in the ground and his kneecap sort of turned dowwards and the wrong way round, you can see the leg twist backwards and the kneecap go white where the pressure is pushing against the skin. Then as he reaches the point of no return he sort of springs back up and flips over. Stretchered off with oxeygen and a leg brace, as I say, prety gruesome to watch. That Stuart Atwell is a joke, decent game to watch to be honest plenty of action.

Do you think they'll show it on MOTD?? I don't think they showed Eduardo's injury because of how gruesome it was...

I don't think they showed Eduardo's injury because of how gruesome it was... No doubt they will show it, if it is a dislocated kneecap then he could be back within weeks, they can just pop back into place unaided. Zola said in the interview after that it may not be too serious so who knows?
Big Ol' Bob Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 By the way it's not OTT gruesome, it's that sort of gruesome where when you watch it, you will feel all weird about your own knee caps haha...

I don't think they showed Eduardo's injury because of how gruesome it was... They'll obviously show it in real time, but they probably won't show close up replays.
StanSP Posted 4 March 2009 Posted 4 March 2009 I've had knee and ankle injuries (both ligament) so I'll know when I watch it. Probably still cringe though!! I still hate seeing Bullard's injury. Even Scott Parker was so shocked when it happened!
