Not been arrested for many years - but it used to be a very regular event (Jersey police operate a bit differently to england!)

At one time we had a bit of thing going on with giving false names - and eeing what the best ones we could get away with were - On one night the police managed to arrest:

  • Joe Strummer
  • Hugh Cornwall
  • Dave Greenfield
  • Charlie Harper
  • Jake Burns

I'm sure they'll be a few here who have no idea who any of the above are??:ph34r:

When I was a kid I was hitting stones onto a factory roof with a tennis racket and the police came and told us off. Apparantly we were hitting them right over and hitting some old couple's roof.

I was only 7 and I ended up being our 'spokesman' kinda thing even though there were 10 and 11 year olds there. I lied through my teeth, and well, too, and they went away.

Other than that, nowt.

i almost got arested when in leicester last year.

i was on my way to the hereford v halifax play-off final and we were being walked to the stadium by the police and basically i got pushed by a police woman off the road onto the path and then back onto the path by a policeman.

being very frustrated at this point i abused the lady police officer who again pushed me, but this time it was up against a wall and she told me, ' at this rate you won't be getting into the ground son-y, i've got a good mind to take you in!'

but i dont think she would of as i am only 14, but it scared me to death!

it wasn't the fact that i was almost arrested, but that i was being held against a wall by a beefy police woman.

DD in 2003 sadly.

as a youngster (1995) some friends and i decided that the best place to smoke canabis would be near ashfordby st police station, it made sense police were hardly going to be looking on their own doorstep. as it happened some kid went missing and they were all out looking for him/her and found us building huge spliffs the copper shined his torch at it and said, 'thats a bit big isnt it?' and told us to move along, further down a patrol car stopped us again, and i said that we had already spoken with their colleagues up the road and they went off. pretty lucky, but quite funny when i think back now.

I've been arrested numberous times, although not for proper crimes, mainly fighting in Blackpool town centre and a few times at football matches, Norwich being the worst as that led to a fine of over £500.

I don't bother with it all now and when i look back am quite ashamed but i suppose that how it was back then, a few beers, a kebab and a good scrap.

I've grown up and tend not to go into town and prefer a quiet meal out with my wife and the last time i was in trouble with the law was over 6yrs ago.

Since when did physical assault cease to be a "proper" crime? lol

I bet Suffolk_Fox has.

He's just the kind of shifty bastard who would get arrested at some point in his life. :P

As for me... no, never. ;)

Cheeky Li'l Fekker! I have NEVER been arrested. Ever.

In fact, I used to be the one doing the arresting...

Have come close twice.

First instance involved a very big skip full of coat hangers in Huddersfield town centre (was v drunk) which I managed to jump out of about 4 seconds before my mate when the cops arrived, resulting in him getting most of the heat, which then resulted in to much back chat, which resulted in him spending the night in the cells.

Second time for brawling (not my fault) in Huddersfield (again) according to a acquaintance I was with at the time (who did the sensible thing and pegged it when it all went off) my mate and I (same as mentioned above actually, bad influence that lad) left the scene about 5 minutes before the LAPD turned up. Had I of still been there I wouldn't of just been arrested im guessing I would of been charged with drunk and disorderly, Assault and battery resulting in ABH (was blatant self defence), and probably racial hated (not true at all) knowing the police and supposed "victims".

Any was all a good three years, have kept my nose clean since and intend to keep it that way.
