Head Honcho Posted 5 January 2007 Posted 5 January 2007 I'm gonna have a bit of a wager this weekend so I want some ideas on 3 premiership teams to back against! * They do not have to be involved in all prem clashes*
Simon Posted 5 January 2007 Posted 5 January 2007 Villa Liverpool Fulham (come on, I'm feeling optimistic!)
MC Prussian Posted 5 January 2007 Posted 5 January 2007 Liverpool and Arsenal will both be in it. Are you going to work your magic?
Maybes Posted 5 January 2007 Posted 5 January 2007 Newcastle Charlton Villa However the big treble would be Brum to beat newcastle Sheff Wed to beat Man City Forest to beat Charlton 30/1
Nationwider Posted 5 January 2007 Posted 5 January 2007 Wigan Blackburn (or Fulham) Villa If I were a neutral, I'd be tempted to go for Fulham ahead of Blackburn, but as I support City I can't sensibly justify it. I think you could go for the other two with a fair amount of confidence, based on recent form.
filbertway Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Charlton to not beat forest? Arsenal Fulham Newcastle
lcfc_jme Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Charlton to not beat forest? Arsenal Fulham Newcastle Charltons away record coupled with the fact it's the FA Cup? Not to mention the fact that Carson and Bent are out. I'd say it's a Forest win myself Take it you have a bet on which requires both Fulham and Newcastle to go out of the cup??

I'm guessng so, but anyonee who bets more thna couple of quid on that is a mad man, it's not gona happen is it
lcfc_jme Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 I'm guessng so, but anyonee who bets more thna couple of quid on that is a mad man, it's not gona happen is it Charlton will do well to go to the Trees tomorrow and get a win. I personally feel that they're going to get beat. I doubt I'm alone in believing this either As for Fulham and Newcastle, I can see Brum beating Newcastle. Maybe 2-1? Can't see Fulhams opponents winning though. I feel sorry for the fans going to watch that game. How boring will that be?!?! Are you the madman with more than a couple of quid on it sir?

I think Charlton will win this.
lcfc_jme Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Care for a wager on Forest winning? I think Charlton will win this. I may be tempted to make a small bet with you on this.. How much you looking at? I honestly cannot see Charlton beating Forest tomorrow. They may sneak a draw but they won't win.

lcfc_jme Posted 6 January 2007 Posted 6 January 2007 Ok, i'm the fat pensioner in a suit. Forgetting that I saw who you were before the Palace game? You're the short kid next to the bloke in the suit Anyway back to the matter in hand, how much is this bet going to be, because quite frankly I am willing to support the Trees this once if it'll make me some money 'cos I reckon they stand a very good chance of beating Prem opposition tomorrow.
