:laugh: Same school (well, if you ignore the fact that as of 1st Jan it's being merged with the school next door and will have a new name, new head, new governing body, newly-combined staff, etc, etc) but a newly-defined role. Out goes the ICT Coordinator and in comes the Leader of Creative Learning and the Foundation Subjects (I'm hoping this means I can just waft around playing music, creating interesting outside 'learning spaces' - in the summer, of course, when I want to top up my tan - and having lots of jollies going on arty-type courses). I had to have a pwoper interview and everything (oh, and I got the job over two 'much more experienced than you, dear' candidates who were convinced they were dead-certs for the role!). :giggle:

Oh, and some mad fool has decided I should be on the SMT. Sheer muppetry. Oooh, the power! :P

Congratulations. It's always nice when you wipe the smile off the faces of those who just think you're there to make up the numbers. I suppose your new role will mean that you need to spend lots of preparation time on the internet during the school day :whistle:
