The Stig Posted 13 January 2007 Share Posted 13 January 2007 We haven't got one. Who should we sign? Is Hughes good enough for Right Position. Should we have sold both Sylla and Low? In my view we should maybe look at getting someone in on loan form the prem for the rest of the season, Hughes will do for now and yes we should have sold them both as they were useless. Mad Dog Posted 13 January 2007 Share Posted 13 January 2007 We should really be getting someone like Eagles in on loan once MM takes over..?
Tubes Posted 13 January 2007 Share Posted 13 January 2007 We should really be getting someone like Eagles in on loan once MM takes over..? he would be a quality signing but until we can get one in on loan danny c can play there he made an immediate effect there against fulham setting up our first goal. even though that was from the left

Yes but sadly we didn't. We released one And Hughsey will do for the RM position as long as he doesn't keep drifting into the centre and leaving the right flank open for the opposition to break away
lcfc_jme Posted 13 January 2007 Share Posted 13 January 2007 Hughes will do out there for now. We have one in available in the youth academy and it wouldn't hurt to give him a try (as Thracian keeps pointing out!). If we aren't going to use him though, we'd need to make a signing so that we had somebody out there who would get at the defender, beat him and put the ball in to the box - as Porter does when he gets the ball. Having another Sylla or Low will be a waste of money and time for us.

I forget his name, that goofy spotty lad who went to Stoke!!
Foxhateram Posted 13 January 2007 Share Posted 13 January 2007 We seriously need a RM there is no arguments about that, cadameteri is not a winger!. as for who.....? well um someone like mica richards no honestly i reckon we could get someone like o brian from portsmouth. or but in a loan bid for the villa winger who played there before agbonlahore...... I forget his name, that goofy spotty lad who went to Stoke!! Luke Chadwick, now at Norwich. Would be great if we signed him. Imagine him alongside Danny Cadamarteri - it'd be Cadders and Chadders! Wils Posted 13 January 2007 Share Posted 13 January 2007 Hughes had a good game there today, although i do feel we need a proper winger with pass because that is what Hughes lacks.

Thracian Posted 15 January 2007 Share Posted 15 January 2007 Thracian will love you. What? Someone who runs at people, takes them on, attacks the box and scores!. Don't be so silly! Far too volatile and temperamental - unless your name is Tiatto or McCarthy. And besides, he's not big enough, old enough, experienced enough, wise enough, defensive enough, strong enough or safe enough. And that's just for starters. Midweek games mean him staying up past his bedtime and he may even have that annoying a habit of scoring on his debut like Cadamarteri. Can't have that. It's disrespectful to all the other players who are prepared to wait for a goal. We punish players if they do things like that. Put em back on the bench and make em stay there til they learn better. And he's learning. Didn't score Saturday did he?

Geo V Posted 15 January 2007 Share Posted 15 January 2007 To be fair to Tiatto, he came to us when we werent doing so great and it was a bit of a coup to sign him. He has hardly set the world alight but he does fill an important role for the club as a baldy-head in the middle of the park. A role that has been so important to the club down the years. We have had loads and must only sell Tiatto if we have a suitable blad replacement, maybe like Chaplow at West Brom?
